My brother just paid $140 for basic deer processing here in Michigan. The stuff you need to do it yourself will pay for itself fast at that rate.

I started out on an old Steelcase teacher's desk. It's built like a tank.
Got it for $5 or $10 at a garage sale. I've expanded since then but I still use it for storage and some case prep.
