    .40s&w in a 10mm

Why would you think it is not safe and why would you not recommend it? There are a number of companies that make the 10mm/.40 conversion barrels just for that purpose. Maybe you should notify them with your concerns. Their engineers probably aren't knowledgable enough to know any better

    .40s&w in a 10mm

Shooting .40S&W out of 10mm Barrel OK, to be fair and honest, there WERE 2 failures to feed in the second gun, the G21. I have spent so much time arguing with folks about the feasibility of this that I was intent on the shooting only, not the feeding. Having a couple of FtF's in a .45 with 10mm...

    3" or 3.5" bbl at 15 yards in 9mm--will I notice a difference?

No, you won't notice any significant difference

    Glock Barrel wear with photos

Looks pretty normal to me. Like a Glock that has actually been shot. That wear looks just exactly like the one I'm wearing right now. I don't think I'd worry about it too much. You might want to check around for another 'smith.

    Longer range pistol shooting?

We do quite a bit of long-range handgun shooting. As mentioned above, we teach a class a couple of time s a year where we have everyone shooting at 200 yards with service-style weapons. We have shot our Glocks out to 500 several times with a decent degree of success. The quality of the first...

Will a .380 pocket pistol really solve all my problems?

No, YOU will solve all your problems. You just may choose a .380 to help.

    No, they don't either.

    Custom built Glock

CamaroLovr, We do those grooves here. They were never intended to match anything. After a lot of testing and a few mistakes, we settled on a 12 degree angle to accommodate the way we teach chamber checks. There is a small handful of folks that think they need to make a fashion statement and make...

    Custom built Glock

There's a big difference between a "custom" gun and one that has simply had some after-market parts added to it. Custom implies to me that you have done something to it that makes it special to you. Something that you have chosen that might make it different than someone else's in some way...

New Mexico Residents, how would you like 5 minutes with the Governor?

The 60/40 bill is not great but it's another step in the right direction. We gain a little bit every time the legislature meets. It has has been many years since we really lost anything here. Hopefully, we'll get rid of that stupid 2-year refresher this year

    Long-Range Handgunning

C-grunt: Yes sir, those were PMC 180 gr. FMJ's. We'll try it again soon with handloads and see if the results are any different. KB: Not quite that much. A hair over 50 feet is what I need with my G35's and about 65 or so with a G23. I haven't tried my G20 yet.

    Long-Range Handgunning

I posted this first on another thread but they were talking about .45's so this may not have been relevant. I removed it and re-posted here. The subject frequently comes up about the max range of handgun shooting. We teach a class here that takes shooters out to 200 yards with service-style...

What can a .45acp do at 200 yards?

Glock 17 Maritime Plug: What's the deal?

I never could figure out why climbing mountains or jumping out of airplanes was such a good thing either but people seem to do it quite a bit. That's because it seems that all you know about UW shooting is what you saw on one little clip. The bullet you saw was a hollowpoint and would only have...

Glock 17 Maritime Plug: What's the deal?

The maritime spring cups work in all Glocks regardless of caliber.

Glock 17 Maritime Plug: What's the deal?

We have a feature length video of underwater shooting. Glocks, 1911, shotgun, SKS, AR-15, revolvers, BHP, SIG 228. Glocks do fine underwater and yes, we have used hollowpoints UW. Here's a G17 shooting a hollowpoint into a jug of water, underwater...

Glock Slide Wear with Conversion Barrel

Yes, it's normal and it isn't "their" barrel and it's NOT "poorly fitted". It happens regularly but not always. It is not dangerous and will stop at a certain point and will not get any worse.

    10MM pistol Question

Makes no difference to me one way or the other. I have my Glock 20 and what anyone else does doesn't affect me.
