    Bullet in a 1 in 60 twist?

It works by helping reduce blow by aka gas cutting. When black powder burns the gasses push the projectile out but some of the gasses escape around the projectile and through the rifling causing the projectile to tumble or not be as accurate. Using a wad helps prevent the blow by/gas cutting and...

    Bullet in a 1 in 60 twist?

Mr. Acorn mush makes a great point...using a felt wad(s) or over powder card can make a world of difference in accuracy and seems to resolve a lot of keyhole issues. You make way to experiment with lubed and dry felt wads or cardboard disk.

    Favorite lube for the arbor?

I prefer the red color so that I can tell how dirty the lube gets with fouling. The valvoline is gray and it doesnt really help like the red does. Ive taken for granted how easy it was for me to drive down the road to an autozone or Walmart for random items like mobile1. I ordered Mobil 1 from...

Got probably the last Goex blackpowder….

Don I got my supplies from Duda Diesel a few years back...but you can get it on amazon I believe. Best to do a search for the purest potassium nitrate (99.XX% is what you want) at the cheapest price. As far as caps go I got my cap maker from ".22 reloader" website. A quick google search will...

    Home made black powder

Im sure it would work just fine..most folks are hesitant to use any steel for their puck dies due to sparks etc. So just use caution. Most people have had negative issues using PVC pipes etc as they cant withstand the pressure buuuuut where theres a will theres a way and us black powder shooters...

    Favorite lube for the arbor?

I use a custom mix consisting of lanolin, coconut oil (the hard version that melts easily, not the liquid), and a little bit of ballistol. Some of yall who sent me guns might have noticed I send their guns arbor lubed up with it. I also have a custom mix i make with Mobil1 red grease. I dont use...

    Anybody seen the Kid??

Mr.cowboydave, message me your phone number and ill send you tracking number. Hey all! I sent out guns on wednesday...took a little longer to get off the island due to float planes are snowed in. All went out last Wednesday.
