can anybody recommend a good punch set?

+ on the Starrett punches, and I also learned, as firearms manufacturers began using more roll pins, that a "short set" of removal and replacement punches for those specifics are a darn good idea. Tapered starter punches are something to consider for those stubborn, in place, pins that just...

    Metal-to-Wood Fit Marker?

Bob was a "jewel". These days it seems whenever I need to order something, it's a back-order situation. No more FFL discounts, or of those that are offered, don't amount to much. Must be that "third generation syndrome". Seems if you're not ordering anything for an AR, you need to L@@K elsewhere...

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

My bad, I guess you're right. Could be they no longer offer one.

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Ah! OK, the front sight threw me off. That is definitely a Clark Custom front sight and the blued finish on the upper is much, much better than what Ruger did back then. Nice pistol.

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Sorry, no I don't, but that doesn't mean that there are none available. I take the previous statement back: Tactical Solutions does indeed sell a very professional looking assist.

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

My knock-off? I eat my "spinach" , so I don't need any assist to charge any of my pistols. Apparently then, the maker of the half-price version found that one larger screw on each side does just fine, takes less time to attach, and the edges of the pull ring certainly are not sharp and chamfered...

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Hey Mr. RevolverGuy, Is that your Clark Custom Ruger .22 pistol pictured above? Dang, that looks like a really nice Mark I.

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

You mention a very important aspect involved with ANY accuracy testing for that matter. STURDY! Being that I actually have what I've determined to be "my range" out back of my shop, I did it my way. Sunk the supporting legs three feet into the ground and cemented those in. It doesn't move at all...

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Here again, I'd recommend that those who are considering a "gizmo" to assist with pulling the slide, or bolt in the Ruger Mark pistols, back a bit easier, to L@@K to ebay for one of those "halo" type pullers: This one is on ebay for half the price ($24.95) of those sold by TandemKross ($49.95)...

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Didn't know Browning offered those. Thanks, that's good to know. Do you think that they are "metric"?

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Seriously???? Are those prices for REAL! I know that's bulk pricing, but for how many, a bazillion? The brass tipped work much better, even on the polymer frames.

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Yes! It's one of thee best investments I've ever made. Takes away all of my involvement, except for pulling the lever that's pulling the trigger: The only gun that doesn't understand how to behave is this one. Once the trigger is pulled, it just goes NUTS!: Thread pitch and size has...

    Browning BuckMark Micro Bull Upgrades

Some pretty dang good shootin'! I'm more of a Ruger Mark pistol "fan-boy" but a few years ago, I found I really liked the looks of the Browning Buckmark Contour, so naturally, the only way to know if it will "jerk my bobber" is to get one and do things with it: I pretty much like it except for...

    Glock Frustrations

IIRC, weren't there some issues with the trigger on some of those H&K pistols?

    Glock Frustrations

I can well recall when the Glock 19 first arrived on the scene. All the TV "talking heads" were covering their microphones with tears because of the "invisible gun" that thwarted airport security. That soon turned into "horse scat" when the realists started producing X-rays of what really did...

    Henry Repeating Arms Expanding Here!

And if you've ever had "Spotted Cow" on tap, here at Applebee's, you'll seriously think about moving. You can always swing by and pick it up in bottles, but on-tap, ice cold, it's almost "orgasmic". And if you ever get down around Southeastern Wisconsin, you need to try a Danish, filled pastry...

Yes sir, they sure are in Rice Lake, WI, 16 miles south of my shop.

For sure and even those that are battered and deep fried are good, but they do need a GOOD cold bottle of beer as a companion.

    Henry Repeating Arms Expanding Here!

Henry Repeating Arms has just announced that they will be expanding their manufacturing facilities here in Wisconsin. They currently have a plant 16 miles south of my shop in Rice Lake, WI and will be adding another plant in Ladysmith, WI around 20 miles southeast of Rice Lake, WI and will be...
