no problems here with a uniflow and varget works well i think.

i believe they are so close i would just by either of the two based on what kind of deal you can find at a gun shop, you can probably find more 06's after hunting season is over though cheeeeeap.

isnt there caliber restrictions in some states. i thought that you couldnt use some calibers under a certain criteria on some game animals, didnt he say he was wanting to go out west possibly and do some long range hunting. you might check into that before you buy one of the smaller calibers...

richards makes a good stock ive seen several in real life but sometimes there lead time is a bit long.
