Worst thing he could possibly do. A LFC die will swage the bullet and cause it to become loose in the case. Another option would be to use a .309" Lee bullet sizing die. Different ammo or Starline brass is what I'd suggest. Federal, Magtech, Aguila, and Winchester brass is thinner and works good...
When I first joined the USAF I was told "Those who can, do; those who can't, teach". 32 years later, when I retired and hung up my uniform, I believe that more than ever. No offense but I bet you can't show us one winning competitive shooter who grips their firearm with that teacup girly man hold.
I agree, they do suck. Nearly all my Lee expanders have been replaced with NOE plugs and the universal expander die. I was shocked when I bought my last set of lee dies and the expander was actually smooth and didn't lock on to the brass and require a slam of the press handle to release it. You...
8.4 LS with a 155XTP is not warmish, especially at 1.15" OAL. Looks more like a soft primer that was lightly struck. Last time I saw that was with a SA EMP and its titanium FP. Swapped it out with a steel FP and all primer strikes looked normal again.
I'd load the Nuke at the longest OAL that would fit your chamber then take advantage of the increased case capacity. Probably gain 30-40FPS over the XTP without increasing pressure.
Other than the chambers and hood widths there is zero difference between any of the barrels. All outer dimensions are identical. As a matter of fit/function, the 40 and 9 mil barrels will install into the 45 slide and fit on all three frames. Only difference between frames, other than the slight...
These should give you an idea as to whether or not they'll fit. Base plates are different so they'd either have to be modified or replaced to fit the Sar.
I'll post the dimensions along with pics tomorrow.

Picked up my TH45 today. Nearly identically to the 9 and 40 with the exception of the sights. The 9 and 40 use 3-dot sights with both front and rear being drift adjustable where the 45 has a blacked out rear and a non-adjustable front sight.
My TH9 has a DA pull of 10ish pounds and SA is at or just under 5. My TH40 has a 9ish DA and about 5-1/4 SA. DA on both is smooth but they do have a distinct "click" at about the mid pull point that you can feel and hear. I believe that click is from a hammer block and some report it as gritty...
The TH series mags have the slot for the catch in the center of the front face. The K2 has the slot on the corner so they won't work as is. If they are dimensionally the same size they would work if you cut/milled a slot in the proper place. My TH45 is supposed to arrive tomorrow so if you want...
Loads 1&2- Up the load by .1gn -.2gn which would be about maximum charge.
Load 3- Way too low for AA#7. Take that one up to 6.8gn - 7gn to start.
Load 5- Again too low for PP. Bump up to 5.4gn - 5.6gn.
Not uncommon when you're trying to play it safe. Instead of wasting time, powder, primers and projectiles, why not tell us what you're using and learn from those who've already worked out the kinks.
I've tested just about every powder I have through my 16" AR-9 and have concluded that it isn't very accurate with fast powders, not one. Since the barrel has a non-existent throat I only cast the Lee 124-2R for it and have to seat them pretty deep at a COAL of 1.075". Groups get much better...
