I have shot of lot of N320 through my 1911 using 180, 200, and 230 grain Lead SWCs and FMJs over the years. Good stuff. I stay near the low end of the published data and get good accuracy. This cleanliness thing you ask for is relative to how much clean you expect.

+1 on Nitrile gloves. Spread some Imperial on the gloves. Roll several cases back and forth in your hands. Doing the same with a plastic storage bag will also work.

I am using the Mr BulletFeeder/DAA powder die on my 550C for 45ACP. It does the job! No shaved lead and a very mild expansion bell. I like the MBF/DAA/PTX as much as my Lymnan M dies.

Don't bother. The ram on the later model Rock Chuckers also toss primers everywhere.

Try some 230 FMJ ball. We all have our favorite loads but BE has been good to me. If you are having ejection issues then check the extractor tension.
