I agree that you're bolted down safe should be enough. If you get robbed they will likely go for the easy stuff that they can grab and go. Someone would have to know what you had in the safe and really really want it to go through the trouble and risk of getting in it and not getting caught.

I'm thankful for the right to be able to open carry. That being said I never do. When you open carry I feel like you put a target on your back for potential criminals. If a criminal is determined to commit a crime and they see that you are armed i'm sure they'll look to eliminate you as a threat...
