My Wife wants a 9mm Gold Cup!

One of my absolute favorite guns. This thing is just smooth smooth smooth and an amazing shooter. Slide is nice and easy to rack. Recoil mild. She will be very happy with it.

    Kimber opinions

I haven't had any issues. I have over 20 1911's and several Kimbers. They are fine guns. Have shot well. Look good. I know what they are. Dan Wesson they are not. Wilson they are not.

The Pocket .380: DAO vs. SA

I like both my SA and my DAO 380s, but I will not pocket carry the Colt. I personally do not feel comfortable with it. This RM380 gets carried daily and I love it. I can shoot it well, too.

    Smith&Wesson Model 586 4" Combat Magnum...

I love my 686+. It gets lots of carry time. But that 586 is quite the shooter and looker....

King cobra Target 4" vs Python

I have both and I love both. I do like the balance of the KC a LOT though. DA trigger on the KC is not nearly as nice as my Python or my 586 and 686. Single action is very good, though.

    Report lost/stolen firearm

When I lived in Virginia my Camaro was broken into. It was caught on my doorbell cam AND the camera mounted to the side of my house. A backpack was stolen from inside along with some other things. Inside the backpack was a S&W shield. Not only would the police not send ANYONE to review the...

    M1A v. AR10 v. FAL

I used to really like my M1A. Now I absolutely LOVE it. M1A Loaded in a Sage chassis. I love the action in the M1A, reliability has been flawless with anything I have shot in it.

I find man's attempts to "modernize" the 1911 unattractive and mostly useless

GASP...9mm Tacticool They all serve a purpose. We live in a world of variety and continuous improvement. I appreciate old school and upgrades alike. Again, all a matter of taste. As long as they keep selling its good for all of us.

I find man's attempts to "modernize" the 1911 unattractive and mostly useless

I have 26 of all types of variety. It really is a matter of taste and preference. Bobtails, Commanders, Government Models, WWI issue, tactical, etc. That being said I own very few non-1911 semi-autos.

    Don't understand the 9mm 1911.

I love them. I shoot the 1911 platform better than anything. My kids love to shoot and a 9mm 1911 is much more manageable for them as they grow. I find enjoyment in shooting and don't need big powerful loads for every pull of the trigger to get that enjoyment.

    Kimber 1911 in 9mm

Now that is super cool. Not very often there is a 001 serial number in the wild. Hold on to that one tight!
