    a fun sunday-trap-skeet-sporting clays.

A very good shotgunner shared some great wisdom with me; "There's only one important target in terms of your score, and that's your next target." If you stop thinking about hitting targets, and start thinking about keeping your fundamentals integrated into every shot, you'll hit a lot more targets.

A bad day at the clays courses is better than the best of days at work.

    AR 10 .308

Nomenclature can cause you issues. As best you can, stick to a definitive pattern in your parts. "AR-10" is itself an Armalite designation, although it gets applied as a general term for large frame ARs. If you are basing your build on a DPMS patterned receiver, sticking with DPMS compatible...

    Tuning an AR....

@Varminterror Thanks for your contributions to this thread. I think anyone with any critical thinking skills will be enriched by examining the information you have shared here, and will also ultimately find it to be true. It's an unfortunate fact of life at this period in time that a reply is...

    Tuning an AR....

You could try a "zero sum" change: a muzzle brake. Reduces felt recoil without introducing any mechanical changes. Then if that doesn't work, go to minor mechanical changes, recoil spring, buffer weight, and adjustable gas block. That is the order I would personally make changes in, but that's...

    My AR10 build works

That's a pretty good lookin' Frankenmonster you built there. I love a mutt build! How does it do at the range?

That is too cool! Awesome project, thanks for sharing.

    Tuning an AR....

That's a great starting point! That's a recoil issue. So now the idea would be to look at the components of your recoil system and see what you have in order to see what changes could/should be made. Is this an off the shelf rifle or a personal build?

    Tuning an AR....

In a general sense, it will make your gun more pleasant to shoot, which in turn could increase your proficiency and overall satisfaction with the gun. Optimally, it would also increase the longevity of the gun and the likelihood that someone else would be happy to buy it or receive it as a gift...

LMT blowout deal on LM308 South America contract overruns

At no point have I pretended to anything. You're jumping to conclusions and making assumptions, which may well be par for the course with you, but I owe you nothing and you can expect that I will do very little if anything of what you suggest.

    .308ARs, Armalite/DPMS

That is true. Unfortunately, it's not what was said. That's certainly what some people thought was being said, but reading carefully will show otherwise. There seems to be a sentiment that if a certain system works in a large enough majority of cases, there's nothing wrong with it, despite what...

LMT blowout deal on LM308 South America contract overruns

#.1 it's not my forum, I'm a staff member not an owner. #2. What's the relevance? We have a member who is a personal friend of mine with the screen name "98Z5V". Does that answer your question? Yes, he's been on the forum pretty much since the beginning of it.

You have yet to refute anything you've seen there in my reading of your post history. Good info or not, you haven't made any substantial contradictions in terms of actual facts, so there's that. Imagine away, it's pretty inconsequential to me what goes on in your imagination. You seem to rely...

I wasn't concerned that you wouldn't. Returning to the OP and it's finer points, that's an incredibly cool rifle, looks like a good deal.

Thanks for that interpretation of the world as I see it from your viewpoint, that's deeply meaningful I'm sure. At the risk of stating the obvious, I owe you nothing. No evidence, no explanations, no satisfaction of any kind. All things I'm happy to provide to folks with an iota of intelligence...

Actually, you couldn't be more incorrect. I in fact referred you to someone else's theory, which was offered in the way of explanation. As for burden of proof, there isn't any here, that's your delusional construct. Let's explore this burden of proof deal a bit: I'd like a link to your phone...
