I called in "sick" yesterday & took my Mrs. to the range :neener:
My Sig P226X5 and my Glock 35 performed flawlessly. My Kimber remains the most hated loved 10mm in the safe. It continues to be problematic, but I take it out anyways.
^^ I like that Longshot gave you an extreme spread of only 35 FPS. All other things being equal, I would use that & start changing up crimp & COAL & find out what it does.
Shoot safe & have fun!
No homerboy. It wasn't the hammer fired model. It was the striker fired one and I hated it. Not even sure why I bought it. Trigger was long, sloppy and gritty, if that makes sense. The shield trigger isn't great, but mine is much better than the Ruger was. It keeps getting better with age too.
If I might,
consider an extended & compensated barrel for the maximum effect. The longer barrel obviously provides the higher velocity & compensator keeps muzzle rise to a minimum.
My notes reflect 7.5 grains of HS6, a coal of 1.23 and 807 FPS average out of my P220.
I have grown quite fond of WST lately for target loads in 40 & 45
I have been reloading 10mm for a few years. It will launch the brass down the road.
My favorite to date is a 180 FMJ or JHP with 9 grains of Longshot. Good for about 1275 out of my Kimber.
Out of curiosity, I tried some 155s, & didn't get much satisfaction out of it. Ended the experiment.

I have had both the LC9s & the shield 9 in the safe. The shield is the only one still there. My Ruger had a horrible trigger & was sold off. My shield is still in the safe & is on my list of carry guns. I enjoy shooting the shield from time to time. I never liked shooting the Ruger. just my .02
My wife is the 9mm shooter in the house, and of your choices, she prefers Unique above everything else in the powder locker.
Over the years she has gone from HS6 to Blue Dot and now Unique. I think I made her some with WST also, but she still likes Unique.
Congratz spraay, I would love to have a Delta Elite! I have a 10mm Kimber, as it's on our roster here in California. I have found that my 10mm 1911 is more content when it's fed truncated cone bullets. It seems to always lock the slide back early on RNFP designs. Keep your loads reasonable &...
I'm a fan. I like the 357 Sig plenty. I can swap between 40 & 357 in 2 Sigs & 1 Glock. Another Glock does 10mm & 9X25 Dillon. It's like a big brother to the 357 Sig
Watch out for neck tension, or lack of it. The portion of the brass that holds the bullet isn't very long, & bullet set-back is common. Use as little belling as you can get away with. Enjoy & shoot safe. It's a fun round to shoot.
