    .308 deer load

I have had very good results with 150gr AccuBond and Varget. I use this load for deer and elk. It is very consistent whether shooting from my pre-64 model 70 or from my AR frame Noreen BN308. I believe that the Varget gives a consistent round regardless of the temps. Weather can be very warm...

    Ulu knives..?

I got my Ulu while living in Alaska. Takes a little getting used to but they are great in the kitchen. The one thing I have noticed, it seems like the ornamental, display knives have small handles. The every day use knives tend to have larger, easy to grip handles. Hope that helps a little.

What's the most accurate production 22 LR rifle produced today?

I believe the intent was for a small game rifle. I have about $200 into mine which includes a butler creek stock and bull barrel. Not only has it killed countless squirrels, it will punch the center paper all day at the range. I have about 10 different.22 rifles. Nothing more fun than the 10/22.

What's the most accurate production 22 LR rifle produced today?

Just curious why the 10/22 isn’t getting any love here. For small game, there have been truck loads of squirrels shot with the 10/22. Low cost, limitless parts, lasts for generations.

    For Garand Owners

First off let me say, if you own a Garand, you are my hero. Hands down my favorite firearm. I wish I would have taken advantage of the CMP years ago. Second, while cleaning out Grandpa’s farm, we came across this ammo can with cloth bandolier, and 8 round clips. Obviously the ammo is no good but...

    2019 June-July Semi-auto Battle Rifle 10 Shot Challenge

This looks like a good time. I guess I’ll be hitting the reloading bench this week and the range this weekend. It has been a long time since I brought out my Noreen BN308.

What is the one gadget no reloading room should be without?

Ok I’m going to add one more item. Sitting at my bench loading some rifle rounds and I realized there is one item I have already used multiple times this morning. I have a small white board at easy reach. Shopping lists, load notes, cartridge length. I’m always marking something.

    Nosler Varmageddon .308

I had a nice Bushmaster 20” barrel for my coyote killer. I gave that rifle to my daughter last week. Now I’m exploring options for varmints. I have a Noreen BN308 that I enjoy shooting. I ordered a box of Nosler Varmageddons in 110 gr. Does anybody have any experience with these bullets in a .308?

What is the one gadget no reloading room should be without?

Getting lots of good ideas. I should have posted this before Father’s Day. One more item that I use a lot is a small cordless vacuum. I like to keep my bench clean and use it all the time.

    AR 15 Pet loads

24.1 gr Varget 55 gr fmj WSR primers Seems to be a consistent round for a day at the range. We use it in several different AR frames, Bushmaster 16” carbine, Sig 16” carbine, Bushmaster 20” rifle. Everybody seems to think Varget is expensive for plinking but, at only 24.1 gr you get nearly 300...
