Brandishing - Stand Your Ground – Castle Doctrine Laws

LOL, The Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Your question show that common sense is truly dead in this country!:(

Brandishing - Stand Your Ground – Castle Doctrine Laws

You can do that ANY TIME you feel threatened, period. That is just COMMON SENSE.

Brandishing - Stand Your Ground – Castle Doctrine Laws

What I teach is to base any and all SD actions you take 'on a reasonable, articulateable FEAR of serious injury or death to you or others' regardless of the criminal statues where you are! That said I do support ALL the statues which give those involved in SD incidents more legal standing...

Dead 'meat' and pigs do not shoot back!!!:) Like you said, to each his own, but the last time I said that I got banned for a week!!

Defense ammo vs target ammo for handguns

When I see some ACTUAL shooting results, medical evidence/autopsies, I may consider the 'magic bullet', but until that I will use what has PROVEN to work!;)

Defense ammo vs target ammo for handguns

Roger that. VERY FEW 'stray' bullets kill or injure anyone. And one of the things that very few, if any, people are aware of is the lose of velocity and mass of the bullets that 'exit' a live target. Most will not have the ability to cause a serious injury, however FMJ bullets are the...

Defense ammo vs target ammo for handguns

What I teach is 'something is better than nothing', that said some 'tools' are made specificly for a certain 'job' thus they will preform better at that task than others. This is the case with ammo. BUT, the most important aspect of winning a gun fight is HIT PROBABILITY! That is why I advise...

    Bad bullets made good... maybe.

Why did you quote me??? You said what I said. But the key world in your post is 'ideally'. That don't change the fact that penetration is MORE important than expansion. That is why I said I would like to see the 'expansion' part of this test/thread before I would agree or disagree with the...

    Bad bullets made good... maybe.

Roger that! Remember, penetration is more important than expansion. If it don't get to the 'important parts' the expansion is a waste!;)

    Most durable centerfire repeating handgun

I agree, the springs are the 'weakest' link in ALL firearms. That said, if they are made of the proper alloy and properly engineered they will last A LONG TIME with normal use. 12 Bravo 20, my last MOS was 18C40, which was changed from 12B4S when SF got their own MOS.

    Most durable centerfire repeating handgun

The only hand guns that I am aware have been tested to EXTREMES are the glocks. They did quit well, but that said we had to replace ALL of the frames on our 22's in 04. We went to the S&W 5906's in 88 and we took two guns out of the first shipment and just cleaned and lubed them and used them...

    Hauled in for questioning?

ROGET THAT. I think the BILL OF RIGHTS is a legal document, to me at least it is. THE RIGHT TO MAKE THE DECISION AS TO WHAT ADVICE IS CREDITABLE IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL. How this information is used is also up to the individual. So if you are attacking me on the grounds that what I am saying...

    Hauled in for questioning?

Thank you, that is exactly what I said. WE are free to get advise from whom ever we wish and to make OUR own decisions based on what info we have.

    Hauled in for questioning?

OK, you lost me here!!!!! Who is the one who should make the choice for the 'individual', if the 'individual' is required to give that RIGHT up????? Or I guess one step further, why do you think the individual should not be allowed to make their own decisions??? My...

Why is it so hard to find a .223 in 10 or 12 twist?

Have you tried any of the 'custom' bbl makers?

    Hauled in for questioning?

Is that not what giving them 'advise' is all about???????;) The 'choice' of what advise to take is theirs, not ours.:)

    Hauled in for questioning?

I guess I have more trust in individuals to think for them selves than you do. And if you don't believe a person should make their own mind up as to what is best for them what do you believe they should do??? That is the reason they listen to ALL the advise and make up THEIR OWN MIND. TO EACH...

    Hauled in for questioning?

So you do do not believe in individual rights either???

    Hauled in for questioning?

I guess you do not believe that people have the RIGHT to make up there on mind then????
