    I don't think I could even deal with a scope on anything I own. I shot a contender once, but it was rifle caliber anyway. I am putting a red dot on a pistol and that's pushing the envelope here.. Just too old and blind not to do something!

    That's a shame, I was hoping it be adequate with my 870, but it only has 1 barrel. Those double barrel pump shotguns are too expensive for me!

    No reason to say this but: it's not a bad thing to carry more rounds per pound! With all the crap an infantryman carries today, that did not exist in WWII it probably evens out!

    I've been carrying a 229 and a 220 for years. When my knees and back used to allow me to ride a motorcycle all the time I thought the SA/DA was best in of an off. They both are carry sized and use the same holster. (Very handy) Great guns, different holes!
