It's a Glock29 10mm. I'm sending it and ammo to Glock and trying to get in touch with Black Hills ammo.

Dimensions are 24" total with 8.5" barrel. So it sounds like it is a pistol for sure to me not a short barrel rifle. I think that has to be 26". Is that correct?

15 yards. 9 shots.I proud of this one! I've had concealed with marksmanship and plan on much more.

Currently I usually practice at 10 yards with good results. 15 yards is difficult and 20 I'm lucky keep it on a 12" target. I use a full size 45 and a M&P Shield 9mm. Results are about the same. 8 months experience.

What distances do you target practice with handguns? How tight a pattern can you shoot? Where should a beginner be?

Section 18.2-308.1 that talks about if you have a concealed carry permit that it's ok if you are in the car. It doesn't say more than that. So I suppose anything else is a class 6 felony. I read the whole section. Fortunately I don't have school age kids.

Unfortunately I am in Virginia. I've been getting news that several counties have gone 2A sanctuary. I don't fully understand other than it's a good thing. Does anyone have more info.

I heard something about a 7 yard rule before. Does this mean we are expected to get out the measuring tape before we can protect ourselves? Trying to be sarcastic, but does anyone have knowledge of this so called 7 yard rule?

I'm excited to learn more about the subject. I bet I'll learn a lot. I think we get to use the simulator also. Nervous about that. It's a 4 hour class. I expect it to be very thorough.
