When I don’t feel like doing something precision I can still resize cases I cleaned the other day or something other than powdering or seating
I can always clean the shop stuff that makes me feel better. Clean and lube a press.
Guess I’ll have to add another step and use the magnet before I put them in the tumbler.
Makes me wonder how many steel cases I have processed over the years and did not know
forgot to add it only took 10 cases mixed with 6 pounds of cases
While processing a lot of 9mm brass my son and I shot I had pin tumbled load I happened to drag my magnet through the pile and to my surprise I heard click, click. Looked and realize some cases stuck to the magnet.
This was the second cleaning because the the first came out tarnished looking...
Forgot to add, I don't own a LM but have read a lot about them. General opinion seems to be that they are cantankerous but once you get it right it is smooth and reliable. So, keep your arm or leg I believe you will be pleased

I have started using the Lyman spring loaded decap die
I have done about 600 9mm and 300 .223 works without a problem.
Am using it on the lee APP press (1 of 2). Sure makes decaping easy and fast

The flame from a primer is not round but elliptical. How do orient so they are all the same and have you discovered if vertical or horizontal is more consistent and do you just turn the round or take the primer out and turn it?
I can only push the bullet about half that.

just switched out the push rod powder drop to the case activated drop this year. Wish I had done it sooner.
