We're having an event at a hall in Texas where no liquor will be served, and it is a private event, but the hall itself has a Texas 51% sign due to the fact that when a caterer is contracted for the hall they do often serve alcohol. We plan to present an attendee with a rifle as a retirement...
Does anyone know what the laws are in Italy regarding carrying a concealed knife? I'm planning a trip over there and would like to know what I can carry in terms of non-firearm weapons.
I'm looking for ideas on how to store my soft rifle cases, and for that matter all "soft" items such as gun belts, shooting vests, etc. These things take up a lot of space stacked on shelves or shoved into closets. Not sure there is any great answer but maybe some of you have come up with some...
Who makes scopes that are 1/2-MOA per click other than Leupold in their LR/T series? I'm looking for a "tactical" style scope in the 3.5-10 or so range.
I just bought a new Glock 17 (Gen 3, manufactured February 2011) from a dealer yesterday. It has a satin-nickel slide. The dealer had two of these in stock. I started doing some online research and everybody said Glock never made guns with light-colored slides. So I called Glock today and...
A local safe dealer used to stock quite a few Graffunder safes but now they seem to have moved towards Securifort. I have noticed the Graffunder prices increasing significantly over the past few years.
They still have one Graffunder left in stock and I'm thinking of making them an offer on...
Some of these in 9mm are showing up locally and I've always been intrigued by this pistol. On one hand they supposedly shoot very well and make a great suppressor host. On the other hand I've got a P226R and G17 setup for a suppressor, so I'm not needing another gun.
And... do I really want...
That is much of what I read into this article:

I have a smaller one of these; Impact Case & Container makes very nice cases in Idaho. Funny enough our "friends" at Costco are carrying them now. This one is a good deal:

My girlfriend's dad has this; what an odd little gun.
It seems like a real P.O.S. in terms of design but it feels somewhat solid. Although the cylinder lockup with the hammer back is really bad.
My girlfriend's dad has this nice old Colt 1911 which is marked "1911 US ARMY" and the serial number seems to put it at a 1913 production.
Functionally it seems fine but the finish is pretty well worn off of it.
What do you recommend doing with a gun like this? Have it professionally...
While I don't agree with the woman's handling of the situation, it is nice to see the law on the side of the gun owner in this case.

Sunday I was driving my panel van to Vegas from AZ. My GPS routed me over Hoover Dam. An hour away from the dam there is a traffic information sign saying to tune into the radio for info. I listened to the information about the Hoover Dam bypass project, which is going on right now and...

Sad on all levels. I'm frankly surprised that a Canadian was rented a handgun. I'm not sure of the laws but I know some gun shops have signs saying they do not allow Canadians to handle guns and will not sell them ammo. I hope this...
