All right guys, I said the heck with sending it in for a simple firing pin issue. I popped out the roll pins, removed the brech block (did not loose even one spring!), and found the return spring was compressed. I stretched it out and the firing pin now returns to the firing position...
Thanks for the info, kind of upset as it is a brand new gun. I have always replaced parts like this on my own, but I contacted Walther and they sent me a pre-paid mailer to send it in. I have heard good turn around times for them.
I still want to knock the pins out and see what is going on...
Has anyone removed the firing pin on a Walther P22 pistol? I have a firing pin spring issue and need to remove the pin. I have the safety out, but firing pin still goes no further than at normal rest. Any help would be apprciated.

I have a firing pin spring issue and need to know how to remove the firing pin. I have already removed the safety, but the firing pin will not slide back farther than the normal resting position. Is ther a trick to get it out all the way?
