Not yanking anyone's chain, but if you buy into the BBTI guys' work, the whole gas-seal, higher velocity thing would seem to be largely a myth, at least in 9mm:

I own a couple of HKs and one Glock, and can attest to the ease of cleaning.
Best regards
Nice review, thanks for the report. I'm waiting till the OD green ones start shipping to take the P07 plunge. I've owned a CZ75b & a 97b for years, love the CZ's!
What're your favorite brands for "tactical" folders? Anyone carrying fixed blades on a regular basis?
I have several of the CRKT M16 line, but lately I've been partial to Kershaw of which I've acquired a couple. The SOGs you can get at Lowe's or Wally World are good tools.
Love the...
A: No decocker on standard model (they do make the 75BD with a decocker but no manual safety. Be VERY careful lowering the hammer on a live round. Once it's down, no worries, Model 75B has a firing pin block.
I own the 75B and LOVE it, no problems ever in 10+ years.
I voted "Other" - no disrespect, but if you have to ask you should be looking for a 9mm, in my opinion. It shoots easier, ammo is cheaper, and you will therefore practice more. A 9 also carries lighter, which means you are more likely to have it when you need it. Trust me, I own practically...

The problem with people who want to take away your rights is that they don't know the least thing about the rights they want to take away. JMHO
It must be some deep-seated psychological need / desire to control the actions or opinions or thoughts of others...
I commented on their "article" yesterday, to the effect that the writer should have also discussed how the UK's failure to ban backpacks and their carry on public transport led to their own tragedy. They didn't have the cajones to print my comment because it doesn't fit with their agenda.:barf...
Cool pics! Thanks!
Hey, some questions about your M39:
How's it kick, compared with .308? I heard the russkie stuff produces some mighty flash - true? How is the M39 different from the 91/30? Which is better, if you had a choice? I've seen both on sale recetnly for 80 bucks - deal...
Many of the parts on the AR-10 are interchangeable with the AR-15, including the FCG. However, the AR-10 uses modified M14 mags that are proprietary to Armalite (at least AFAIK) and therefore EXPENSIVE.
Note that the AR-10B you've posted CANNOT mount any optics on the carry handle as the...
Another idiot with an AK. :banghead:
It's time we rid the country of these AK's. They're plainly evil, and anyone who even looks at one will be instantly imbued with evil thoughts and intentions and be psychologically incapacitated so as to be unable to discern between right and wrong...
Today I have on a Citizen Ecodrive, Palidoro model. It's a pretty accurate watch - gains about 3 - 4 secs a month. I have several other watches WAY more expensive, but I'd definitely buy another Ecodrive.
As always, it's a pleasure reading your reviews, Mr. Camp. Invariably, they are uncannily well-timed with respect to my acquisition list, if not my wallet. ;)
Thank you, sir!
