There are two models of the SuperCell recoil pad. One is for synthetic stocks and the other is for wood stocks.

    Seattle Area Gun Dealers

I did an FFL transfer through Capitol Loans earlier this week and was really pleased with the experience. I'll definitely be using them for future transfers.

Short/Youth stock on a house gun?

What about it was painful? I know several people with Hogue youth stocks on their HD 870 and are very happy with how it handles.

    A Rant In Progress.....

I may be mistaken, but I think he meant when people refer to their shotgun as their 12 gauge or 20 gauge.

    A Rant In Progress.....

Certainly. When I said brain I meant being practical, rational, logical, etc. as well as having a positive attitude. I wasn't trying to imply that mo' diplomas = mo' manly.

    A Rant In Progress.....

Manliness is a measure of brain, not of brawn.

    Adding dimples to a Saiga.

Receiver dimples are to add rigidity to the receiver. Magazine wobble is usually due to the magazine well being too large. If you really feel like you need to tighten up the fit, I would add shims on either side of the inside of the receiver until it fits how you want it to. I wouldn't mess...

CDNN: Best deal in the house.

The FN rifles are an exceptional value at the price CDNN is selling them and won't be offered this cheaply forever. You can pretty much get a Del-Ton whenever you like (even though I'd recommend Stag over Del-Ton if you're looking for a lower end AR).

    H&R "Pardner" Pump

No, but the taxes collected because of the business activity goes to the Chinese government which can allocate it to their military. Also, China's dictatorship is worse than Sudan's, Saudi Arabia's, or even North Korea's? If you say so.

    H&R "Pardner" Pump

Why doesn't anybody get on Sig's case for making 1911 clones? The patent on the 1911 expired just like the patent for the 870 did. The federal government wouldn't let those shotguns in if they were infringing on one of Remington's copyrights. You can call them a copy, a clone, a knock off, a...

    CMMG or DEL-TON

Did you miss the part where the shipping for the CMMG upper is $0.01 and $15 for the Delton upper? That brings the difference after shipping to $25. Also, thank you arthurcw for explaining the differences between the two. If anybody would like to read up on the manufacturing differences...

    CMMG or DEL-TON

For an extra $25 the CMMG is way way worth it. I'd still buy the CMMG even if the Delton were $300.

    lancaster or vector?

Both will be great rifles, but if there's only a small difference in price I would buy the Vector. It's worth the extra cost to me for a build using Polish, Hungarian, or Bulgarian parts kit over a Romanian parts kit.

Wingmaster Riot gun arrives from CDNN

No worries. I imagine it looks like every other Wingmaster with wood furniture. I just figured you had neglected to show off your latest acquisition. :)

    Rem 870 VS Moss 590

You will be very well served by either. I slightly prefer the thumb safety of the 500/590 series though.

    Mossberg cycling issue

I was out shooting clays this past weekend, and toward the end the Mossberg started having some trouble cycling. It would get a little bit jammed up when the action was all the way back but eventually it'd give way with enough persuading. This didn't bode well for me since it pulls double duty...
