So my T Grip broke while shooting today and I need to replace it. Problem is I do not want another if it is going to break as well. Anyone else have one break? Suggestions on a wood boot type grip that comes close to the grip angle and shape? It was on a model 66 no dash.
Can anyone tell me the front dovetail size for one of the 2003 production era 9422's?
Williams list's two available;
(M) .340 medium width is for factory ramps such as Marlin, Remington etc.
(W) .531 wide width is for dovetailed barrels commonly found on .22 rifles and muzzleloaders.
I have a double action pistol that has adjustable sights. When I shoot it in single action I am hitting three inches left at twelve yards. When I shoot it double action at twelve yards I am dead on center. Two issues I would like input on. The first is that twelve yards just happened to be the...
I have been looking for a model 18 for quite awhile now. Let me correct myself, I have been looking for an affordable model 18 for awhile now. I attended the Springfield gun show today and came across both a pre model 18 and an 18-3. As I started to look at them through the case an older...
Just handled one at my local dealer today. All I can say is I wish I had the cash ($1250) to walk away with it. I love my standard M&P 15 but this is so much nicer. Great to see other manufacturers working with Magpul.
Has anybody come across any S&W J frame round to square butt conversion grips in wood lately? I have been looking for a pair for awhile and can't seem to find any. I would like to try them on my 63.
I have a S&W 317 with the serial number prefix DCF and cannot find any information related to 317's having that prefix. Can anyone point me to a reference? I have the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson but it shows a different prefix for the 317.
Might have figured it out. I don't see any...
Does a S&W model 19-3 hold a higher value than a model 19-7? I'm talking both in overall value and usability. Is a pinned barrel better than not pinned; is a recessed cylinder better than not recessed, etc.?
I have a model 19 with the serial number prefix 'BRC'. The Standad Catalog of Smith and Wesson shows a prefix of 'BRF' but not 'BRC'. What am I missing?
I have been informed that I should stop shooting moly coated bullets. And that I should use Sweets 7.62 bore cleaner to clean out the moly that is already there. Does any one know if another bore cleaner will work? I only ask because I already have three other cleaners in house.
