Am looking at one of the slide type holsters from EP saddlery or Don Hume. I know these are good makers, but what do you guys who own one think of the holster type? Does the gun stay secure? Comfy?

Have been reading up on knife blade materials (Thanks to you guys) and have determined D2 sounds like the stuff I'm interested in. I know Knives of Alaska, some of Benchmades, and a bunch of custom makers use D2. Any other manufacturers you guys know of? Looking at folders primarily.

Anyone know what steel puma used or uses in their lock back folding hunters? Bought one 20 years ago. Best blade I've had. Would like to know steel type for future knife purchases.

Have a ranch rifle that never shot impressive groups. I see now that Ruger is offering a target version with target barrel and counterbalance. Don't want to buy the new one, but would like to accurize the one I have. Anybody out there offering upgraded barrels etc on mini 14s? Prices? Links?

Hello, I have a Kimber compact that the thumb safety has moved to the fire position from safe while carrying concealed on 2 occassions. Guess it rubbed against some flab or something. I think the safety feels like the spring is weak. It's definitely weaker than the spring on my Dad's...

Saw an add a while back for some new type of grips for 45 autos made of a carbon derivative. Forgot the manufacturer, but am interested in something that will not snag/print like rubber grips or sweat stain like wood. ANybody got these? Link perhaps? I want them for a Kimber compact.

I have a Kimber Compact 45. Happy with it, but wouldn't mind another half inch of grip in my hand. It will not effect it's concealability in the fashion I currently carry it. Anyone know of a 1911 extended mag that serves to extend the grip/handle of the pistol?

Am looking at El Paso saddlery: A Patton, Tom Three persons or a thumbbreak model. Want leather. Not trying to conceal. Will wear as sidearm while hunting Alaska. Think I like the zero cant. Anyone have one of these? Any recommendations?

Looking at custom work for a revolver. Moonclip conversion looks interesting. Is there a downside to moonclips? Does it weeken a cylinder to have it set up for moonclips? I assume the revolver will not work without a moonclip once converted. Dumb question probably, but do the rounds snap...
