I have a 45 x 209 for my TC G2 Contender.... shoots a 5 shot group of 1 .250" to 1.375" with Blackhorn 209 over a Harvester saboted .40 cal 200 grain scorpin. Try the Harvester Sabots for easy loading a accurate results and the Blackhorn 209 powder to cut down on cleaning time.

If I'm not mistaken it's 24" breech to muzzle... gotta wait for some of the snow to clear to set the old ohler up to get some velocities.

The G2 is a great improvement over the original contender. If you considering a 30 cal. barrel consider the 300 Whisper but make sure you get a 1:8 twist barrel as you'll want to shot the 240 grain heads.
