Just venting a little bit and man I am not a fan of Lena Miculeck right now lol…ugh

Had doctor appointments over the last couple days and my carry was my Ruger LCP .22LR lite rack. Disappears in my shorts pocket and doesn't add too much to my weight.

Is everyone still loving their Ruger Wranglers?

I like mine and it has been fun to shoot, reasonably accurate as a plinker and so far reliable. The bronze color doesn't annoy me but has annoyed other folk. They haven't refused to shoot up my ammo with it though.

For those of us who live in an open carry state

Hellofaway to run a country. Let write laws that sound good but are filled with platitudes.

Remember buying 22 and 22lr rounds individually? When I had a dime I got 5 or 10 rounds depending on whether it was 22 or 22lr.

For those of us who live in an open carry state

Towards the question of whether "open carry and constitutional carry are "two different terms for the same thing" it really can't be answered without defining exactly what is covered by each term in the specific State or locale. Unfortunately we as a people seem to love throwing misleading...

Firing a DA revolver in SA mode

For my revolvers almost all has been DA for far too many decades but with SA mode when I want greater than SD accuracy.

For those of us who live in an open carry state

My carry gun is hopefully NOT for fighting just as my insurance is not for claims and my fire extinguisher are not for fighting fires and my first aid kits are not fo first aid. All of those things are there for the times all the good options failed and are tools of last resort and evidence...

For those of us who live in an open carry state

We are an open carry state and I'm down by the Rio Grande and so far, at least the last couple decades I've had no issues with open carry or kinda/sorta concealed carry or discreet carry. I can be IWB or OWB, most often new (less than 25 years old) holsters from Aker, Kramer, High Noon...

I have no idea where people even shoot anymore.

There is one range about 20 miles away that has bays out to 100 yards but none close by where you can shoot further out any further. And this is in South Texas.

I haven't had that issue with either the 380 or one of the 9mms. And yup, the cause of the heat issue is known and reasonable but as I said, on mine I don't really notice it until I run 100 rounds or more through fairly rapidly. There's not much contact between frame and slide so the first...

Beretta 21A or Ruger LCP II?

My LCPII Lite Rack got the lighter firing spring and heavier extractor spring from Galloway. I did not install the heavier hammer spring since the former two solved all my light strike and ejection issues. It's here should I need it though. My Bobcat with its fatter grip is slight easier to...

"Oh my Gawd....do you have a gun in every room?"

No. I will be carrying a gun even in the house though. If I'm not carrying it, it will be secured.

I have three, a CCP 380 M2+, my older version 1 CCP 9mm that the key broke and neither Walther or Earl could get them and the little latch on the striker was getting where it didn't hold and the striker spring looked like a Slincky after a two year old's birthday party so Walther upgraded it to...

    A New Walther CCP

I'm old and there are days when the body simply says "Nope, not doing that!" Having options that are easy to rack, magazines that are easy to load, pistols that are accurate with the ability to rapidly return to POA are essential. Now if only I can get them prescribed as Durable Medical...

    A New Walther CCP

Yes, they came with three different front height sights. There are two M2 versions. Look on the other side near the DE. A "+" sign is the M2+ that uses Glock 19 sights. I also have two of the 9mm versions, a version 1 that was upgraded to M2 and an M2+
