I would recommend the Silencerco/SWR Octane. I think it's the best pistol can on the market. Design is great but I think what sets it apart is Silencerco's customer service.

Your process sounds fine to me. Some people tumble with brass pins I believe. As long as the baffles are SS it shouldn't hurt it any.

Not in my lifetime. So many other gun issues being focused on. Although silencers are becoming popular it's still relatively rare.
