    Nosler brass....who makes it?

I am pretty sure its federal, Federal rifle brass has developed a reputation for being soft in recent years. Nosler may spec the brass out to their own satisfaction and it may vary from most federal products.

    Load recomendation for 1:7 .223?

My 1/7" WOA upper will shoot bullets from 45 to 80 grains with great accuracy , as long as it is not 68 or 69 gr. A load that has done well for a number of people is a 77gr Sierra or Nosler bullet and 23 to 23.5gr of TAC with a Fed 205M, Rem 7.5, or CCI BR-4 primer. Other guns have done well...

    AR Double Tapping?

I assume you mean: 1 pull = 2 shots? A new hammer spring fixed mine, it would only do it with heavier recoiling stuff, warm 75s and 77s.

Phoenix gun show has good supply of Winchester Primers.

I think the primer drought maybe letting up a little, just in time for the post election buying panic:uhoh:. Most places I have checked (Wideners, Grafs, Powder valley) have had a variety of different primers (SR) in stock, even some Fed 205M.

Can someone give me the data for a 50gr Vmax in 223 for Varget and RL7

Following Sierra AR data: 20.2 to 23gr Of Reloder-7 with a Rem 7.5 primer. I use Rx-7 with 55 bullets and 52gr SMKs with excellent results. Sierra's accuracy load for 55gr bullets is 21.5gr (Max book load) and it works extremely well with a wide range of 52 - 55gr bullets. No help with...

Ramshot TAC or X-terminator for .223

I've got a pound of X-Terminator and 1000 52gr SMKs to play with, I hope good things will happen. I've got a short ton of TAC (O.k., 30lbs) and I love it with 68-77gr bullets (10 shots MOA for the 75s and 77s), It does very well with 55 FMJs, it is sub MOA with 52 SMKs (5 shots) and 55 Nosler...

    MK 262 Mod 1, 5.56MM 77 info

Start a Hornady 75 bthp(OTM) @ 2700fps, it should fragment at 200 yards (Frag velocity stated at ~2200fps, calculated bullet velocity 2262fps at that range(Hornady)). I know I can run that bullet to 2750fps without exceeding published data(chrono, 20" barrel). Now, if you bust a gut, and...

Help figuring out .223 accuracy discrepancy

Anybody got a world class air rifle or pistol? It would be interesting to see POI impact shifts of pellets of the same weight, and different designs. Just brain farting..........

Lead bullets for XD 45 ACP

Me and my brother tried to get 200 lead SWCs to work in a 4" 45XD. We increased powder charge with no luck. I had a box of 100 230 RNs and didn't try em, I thought they were 200 SWCs. I also tried low ball 185 SWCs with no luck.

    Ramshot TAC for 5.56

How good a condition are your 55s in? Some pulled surplus bullets are badly out of round. This would concern me more than any capacity differences b/w Rem I use and LC. I have found LC, Rem, and Win very similar. With the exception of warm to max loads, they interchange well. YMMV, work up to be...

    Ramshot TAC for 5.56

I've had great results from the 75 and 77gr bullets with 21.5gr (RS starting load) to 23.2gr TAC and Fed 205M primers.

    Are These Headstamps OK?

Privi/nny is good stuff, I've reloaded some twice. The PMC I've reloaded in the past has been good (6.5x55, 45, 38), but I haven't tried any 223 yet. I've heard a few rumblings about SB, primer pocket issues mostly, but I've probably got 500 or so SBs I've accumulated so I guess I'll have to try...

    Ramshot TAC for 5.56

I have more than I care to admit and I'm still thinking about getting more. I haven't tried 52/53 match bullets yet, but 55gr Nosler BTs shoot very well and 75 to 77gr OTM do great.

Which bullet for AR15 with 1 in 9 twist

Cracked, Yes, it is the 68 match. Luckily that bullet seems to be well regarded by the jello shooters for SD use, so I loaded them up with a stiff charge of TAC and put them into storage as hurricane insurance for my brother. Added benefit is the poi/poa is very close to XM193 at 100yrds.

40 S&W 180 gr Lead FP Recipes Please

I'm really learning to like W231 Lyman list 4.3 to 5.8gr w/175gr cast bullet. I'm using 5.3gr w/ 180gr FP commercial cast bullet with good accuracy and it is shooting to POA. Added advantage is I shoot the same charge behind a 200gr SWC in my 45. Unique worked fine with 5gr but was dirtier...

Which bullet for AR15 with 1 in 9 twist

I had real good luck with Black hills BB 75gr match ammo in a 1/9 RRA carbine, so I tried reloads with Hornady bullet and TAC. It would shoot under 1 MOA for 5 shots. It is rumored not all 1/9 will shoot 75gr bullets. That carbine also seemed real fond of Sierra 55gr bullets and AA2230. The one...

    R-O-R-G 223 Brass - Any good?

I hope its O.K. to link to other sites, http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=9&t=571761 babobs graph is at the bottom. His cases had less variation than mine did. Have you tried to reload them more than once? On the second reload (3X) is when the Rim issues appeared. First...
