Get a Glock. Not a beautiful BBQ gun but you wont be disappointed in the performance. They're even pretty accurate.

The WORST gun in your personal collection?

Diamondback DB380. The weapons are horrible but look on the bright side the customer service is worse. PS Diamondback was purchased by Taurus and they also suckk

My brother's LC9s makes me want to sell Shield for one.

They are both excellent weapons and I would own both and sell neither. I wish Ruger would make a LC380s. Love the LC380; smooth shooting pistol, right size (for me) and that slide is sooo easy to work but I don't like the trigger. LC9s is nice and so is the Shield.

Losing Faith in the 1911. Help

They are sexy with parts galore and the history well, they are iconic but... For the cost of a lower end 1911 you can get a much better performing modern .45acp. I sold my 1911's and replaced them with Rugers, Glocks & S&W.

    DiamondBack DB9, in 2014, still...crud?

I bought a new one this month (Oct 2014) and bummer for me they are still horrible weapons. I was led to believe some of the problems have been worked out but no. I'm selling mine. I swear to you I would rather carry a Jimenez Arms, Saturday Night Special. At least they work (I never had a...

    Questions about a makarov.

I use a soft IWB holster for my mak. No firing pin spring at all as it just bounces around in the channel. No problem because hammer should not completely contact the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled all the way back. Maybe the firing pin is heavy enough to slam forward and dent a...

    Here we go... Dry Firing.

Do not dry fire the kel-tec pistols or you'll be really sorry when you try to remove the frankenbolt that holds the extractor in place and also serves as a firing pin stop. Dry firing allows the firing pin to slam unopposed into the end of threads of the bolt. The threads get peened over and...

    Interesting Hi-Point Article

I had a PA-63. Looked nice but ran like crap and kicked like a mule. Traded it for a Hi-Point and have been happy ever since.

I got it. It is from squeezing too hard and too long. You probably need a steroid injection at the pain site.

They will kick you out if they even smell beer on your breath. As it should be.

    1911 Love/Hate

I had a Auto Ordnance 1911 and rounds would get hung up or bumped by the internal aspect of the last round hold open lever. Check it for signs of brass hitting it.

    Friend with gun in bank

In my state it is perfectly legal to CCW in a bank. Bad idea to leave a gun stashed on the tire. Please don't do that again.

    new hi-point

A little tough to get a grip on the slide to rack it and I'm not sure I would trust carrying one with a round in the chamber, but other than that I like mine.
