i'm replacing my Maxped colussus with one of these. Little bit larger than the neatfreak, but what a cool looking bag (pricey, too!)

With the price of 45 ACP higher each time i go to Wally World
i'm definitely considering it. Got a copy of ABCs of Reloading at the library just yesterday.
Still Waiting
placed an order on Dec 5. I'm writing this off and ordering an HF1 from Tucker. I'll also open a complaint with both PayPal and the BBB, but don't expect much to come of it.
The XD is a dependable and reasonably priced weapon that will not let you down.
The 1911 is, well, a 1911. You have to own one (or 2 or 3 or 6) to understand.
holsters don't rub?
i walk with my wife most nights and she sets a fairly brisk pace - 16 - 17 minute miles. I've been considering carrying my XD9 in a comp-tac paddle, but was thinking it would rub against the love handles a bit. Would a belt holster work better?
.45 is pretty dirty
just ran through 3 boxes with my SA 1911. The top of my shooting hand was black. Took a bit of work to clean the pistol.
That said, it is cheap (for .45)
I would say you did "overpay". I did the same thing when i bought SA loaded black stainless last year at Gander Mountain - i'm a real sucker for impulse buying.
I bought a new XD9 bi-tone yesterday for around $ 500. I did plenty of research before hand and chose to pay $ 50 more than i might...
There's a federal excise tax on firearms???
You sure about that? i just checked the sales reciept on the last gun I bought and just saw state sales tax.
thanks for the report. The G19 is on my shortlist for a new IPDA/HD/Carry gun along with the XD and M&P.
I plan to try one out at the range later today.
I was already to buy the XD when a friend suggested I should at least look at and shoot a Glock.
i'm not asking which is better. I just need know which model Glock is closest to the XD9 service is size, wt, capacity, etc.
I plan to use it for IDPA, HD and (maybe) ccw
SA Loaded
i'm a lefty and after a little practice don't have any problems with my SA Loaded.
I can operate the mag release and release the slide stop with my index finger. The only left-handed thing i need is the ambi-safety.
