I see people wearing IWB with the gun buried in their pants with the trigger guard way below the belt line and the grip barely accessible. I have people who request a low ride height like that with one of Tucker’s IWB holsters and strongly recommend against it. It can get you killed. It’s slow...
I really didn't want to say no, but I turned down a holster order the other day.
He was a nice guy and I probably made him mad. Would you have given him what he wanted even if you thought it wasn't safe?
Here are the details. I'd like to hear your opinions...
A recent post on another forum had me take another look at the reasons for and against tuckable IWB's.
Here's my take on it. http://www.tuckergunleatherblog.com/2006/10/06/you-bet-id-have-a-tuckable-holster-i-wear-one-every-day/
What do you think?
Here’s a tip I got yesterday from mycustomer, Joe Allen, that will impact most of you who wear Tucker’s IWB holsters with standard kydex belt clips. You can restore them easily if they open up a bit. (Would work for Comp-tac clips, too.) Thank you, Joe. :thumbsup...
How does a Blue Angels video relate to a lesson on shooting?
If you check it out you'll see - it really does.

Mark Garrity has been kind enough to write an informative guest post about exotic leather for holsters.
I think you'll really enjoy it if you want to know more elephant, crocodile, shark, ostrich, sting ray, etc.
Here's the link...
The post about guns vs. knives created a flood of strong opinions and great information.
Now there's a must-see video that really illustrates what a guy with a knife can do against a guy with a pistol.
Here's a follow up post that points to gotta-read articles and to the very sobering...
“Don’t Bring a Gun to a Knifefight?”
Sure, you better bring a gun, bring a clear mind and the will to act so you don’t get cut.
Yes, I know. The old joke is about "don’t bring a knife to a gunfight."
This is no joke as you’ll see here: http://tinyurl.com/l8yk9 *WARNING* - Not for the...
Concealed carry has a very important mental component that requires some discussion. I don't have all the answers, but here's what I have to offer at the moment. I'd be glad to hear your thoughts.
Jeff Cooper gave us the color codes for mental awareness from condition white (unaware and...
It’s predictable. People even say it out loud, “I can’t believe this is happening to me.”
I couldn't believe what I was hearing on the phone.
I got a call from "Annie's" mother several months after Tucker and I taught her to shoot.
Her mother said, "Annie's been in a shooting." My heart...

How'd you like to watch Tucker make a holster?
I thought you might so I took some pictures a short time ago.
The holster is a pancake for a J-Frame S&W.
Each step will be a separate post at www.tuckergunleatherBLOG.com.
I would love to hear your feedback on the blog. Weeks of work have gone...
I'd like your help. What shooting tip(s), exercise(s), concept(s) have been the most helpful to you? I'm compiling an article from your input that will be available free when I'm done. I admit it's an experiment of sorts because I don't know what you will contribute.
I started to write an...
Some like plain and some like fancy. Tucker came up with his new "Spiral Cut" available on Pancake, HF series, etc. This is shown in natural leather, but is available in black, black cherry, med. brown. and dark brown as well.
Comments are welcome.

Here's Tucker's tribute to a classic design. A customer asked for it and now it's available for anything you carry. It's the Tucker HFA "Tradition." The holster shown is in Black Cherry with both a Fleur di Lis Border Stamp and a Diamond Cut Stamp in the center. You can tell it's fully lined...
