I am trying to identify a rifle. It has a Mannlicher action. It is carbine length with the cleaning rod underneath the barrel. Top of the chamber has Terni stamped on the top. On the left side of the stock is a crown marking in a rectangle and the letter A with 40 below it. "AK" is stamped...
I took my DPMS AR-15 out to the range yesterday. It shot pretty good for the first 30 rounds or so. I then started getting double feeds. After clearing these I did some basic maintenance and lubing.
I shot a few more rounds then had a failure to fire. While attempting to do remedial...
I have not witnessed this problem. A friend at work was telling about an issue he was having with his MP .40 over the weekend.
He stated he would fire the weapon and approximately every 3 or 4 rounds the magazine would fall out. He stated he tried several different mags, tried to pull them...
A friend of mine inherited a revolver from his grandfather.
It is a 38S&W Double action. It does have Ruger wood grips on it, but they appear to be too small for it.
Markings on the right side are: Made in Germany (on barrell just above the ejector rod
Markings on the left side are...
I currently have a 580 series Mini-14. I love the rifle...except for the sights. Does anyone know of a better set of open sights that can be installed on it? I would like to find something that works along the same line as the A2 sights.
I know this might not be the right forum for this. If so mods, I apologize and please move it to the appropriate location.
I just wanted to get this out to the vets and supporters of the military.

I am about to order a rifle kit for an AR. I already have the stripped lower. I am looking at the 16 inch barrel for it. It will be .223. I am a little confused on which twist to get. I could use some advice on which one would be the best choice for my weapon.
Thanks
Recently I had to spend a lot of time at NW Hospital in Amarillo. They had signs posted at the entrance stating the CCW law prevented the carrying of firearms on the premise.
As an Oklahoma LEO would that restriction apply to me carrying my weapon in the hospital? My understanding was that...
I am looking for a revolver that I can carry concealed for off duty purposes. My Agency requires that I be able to qualify with it on the Oklahoma LEO qualification course. My price range is from $200 to $300. Anyone have any ideas?
Just FYI the course of fire for Oklahoma requires 70% and...
Frank Miller's newest graphic novel to movie release is based on the battle of Thermopylae. I know this is not directly related to THR but I also know there are many History buffs who might find this enjoyable.

This article was in this week's Police One e-letter. Seems like it would be a good topic for discussion and review.

I am looking into buying an AR. I found Del-ton's website for kits and wanted to see if anyone had purchased anything from them. I am not looking for anything fancy, mostly something along the A2 configuration that I am used to.
This is the kit I can get for $575 before shipping. Is it...
Sorry if this has been asked before. I did use the search function and didn't see anything on it.
Does anyone know of LEOs having problems carrying concealed in other states? I am curious if this had popped up in cities and states where concealed carries are not allowed.
