LC Smith - $250 what to look for

When talking about SxS shotguns, be they sidelock, boxlock, or droplock, the “lock” is the part of the trigger- hammer mechanism that makes the gun fire. If the gun has no lock, it is a non firing gun.

A cheaper to shoot snub for fun at the range (not for carry)

I have a pair of Detective Specials, a 66-2, 640 Pro, 642, and a 351PD. The most fun at the range, and the one I actually carry from time to time, is the 351PD. In my opinion, a very under appreciated little revolver. That said, I would like to have an SP101 in 9mm, because most of my carry...

Looking for an accurate 32 ACP.

If the PPK in .32 is as accurate as the PPK IN .380, that would be one suggestion. My .380 PPK is a very accurate pistol.

    Glock 43X Trigger

I put a 3.5# connector from the Glock Store, in mine. It’s nice.

"pre silver pigeon" beretta 686 special

I have a silver pigeon with 32” barrels and an onyx with 26” barrels. I will probably sell the silver pigeon. The onyx has taken pheasant, ducks, dove, and thousands of clays. There are a lot of fancier guns, but I’m not sure any of them shoot any better. The onyx is the last shotgun I would...

    S&W 351C thoughts

I love my 351PD. Super light. Easy to pocket carry. And very accurate. Be aware, you’ll need to spend a little range time in order to get the feel of the trigger. They are a heavier pull than centerfire revolvers, but can adjusted to with practice. I will never sell my 351PD.

    SIG Pro (SP2022)

Had one. Nice gun. Very accurate. Did not like heavy DA trigger for first shot. Too big for me to carry. Traded it for Glock 26.

Think shotguns will ever be "cool" again?

Absolutely agree! Some might think my 590 retro is cool. I think my AyA #2 and Beretta 471 Silver Hawk are much cooler.

    Woodsman in W2

    Glock 42 vs 43 ?

My 42 is one of the most reliable and shootable, of all the handguns that I own. A very under rated pistol in my opinion. I run Hornady Critical Defense and Aguila hardball in it mostly and have never had a malfunction.

    Ruger mkii help

Installed the Hammer Strut Support yesterday. It will change your life. I plan on buying a couple more just to have on hand, in case I find a Markll that needs a home.

    Bead issues

Sounds like the comb is too high. Shotguns are all about “fit”. If your eye is higher than the top of the barrel, and you’re using the bead, you will most always hit high. If you are going to feed it a steady diet of slugs, a red dot could help alleviate your issues.

    Thinking about the Sig P239

Had one in .357sig. Loved the cartridge. Didn’t care for the heavy double action trigger pull on the first shot. Sold it . Maybe if I’d practiced with it more I might still have it. Maybe not.

    Ruger LCP vs EC9S?

I have the LC9s. I can easily carry it in the front pocket of my cargo shorts. Jeans or dress pants…not really.

28 Gauge vs 20 Gauge for Upland Bird Hunting

In my area, 20ga ammo is cheaper and easier to find, if that makes a difference to you.

Latest Wilson Combat Video: 1911, Revolver, others

I watched that video, and thought it sounded like an infomercial for 1911s.
