    Lots of problems feeding my 1911

    Ive looked through the posts and have found a million ways to solve what I think is my problem but Its not an every time thing. If I work the slide slowly the round dives down and hits the feed ramp straight. If I pull it back and let go the round looks like it hangs up on the top of the barrel...

    barrel bushing

    I've been working on my rock island 45 and I cant seem to get the new barrel bushing to fit. It almost slides on anyone have any quick fixes.

    1911 barrel bushing

    I just got a new barrel bushing in for my rock island 45 and the bushing just wont slide all the way over the end of the barrel. It lacks about a 32nd of an inch from slidding through. Would a little filling of sand paper remedy this problem?
