Ruger Precision Rifle: Which caliber to choose?

Not hard at all Kodiak, all three of these rounds are easy to reload. The dies are readily available. Now reloading for 308 will be easiest in my opinion, more components will be available. If you go 6.5, there's a wealth of knowledge on this forum http://www.65creedmoor.com/ The hardest thing...

Wow my dealer is getting me the 6.5 for $920, but he says they might not ship for a couple of months??? How are you guy's dealers getting them sooner than that?

Ruger Precision Rifle: Which caliber to choose?

The rifle only comes in three calibers, 308, 243, and 6.5 Creedmoor not 7mm mag zb338... I'm personally ordering a 6.5 Creedmoor RPR tomorrow. As far as ammo availability. Its out there and available averaging about $35 a box. Buy it over time and keep your brass every time you shoot and then...

    300 blackout divergence. Vote here

I have a 16" CMMG and a 12.5" AAC uppers, it's my primary cartridge that I reload for. I've taken about 11 pigs with the cartridge in various weights 110, 125, 135. I'd like to suppress it, but I'm still not big on the whole NFA thing. Wouldn't even own the 12.5" if it wasnt for the Sig SB15.

AR Build: Pistol to SBR. What caliber and what barrel length?

+1 what Wally said, 300 blk is ideal for shorter barrels, but you'll have to reload to enjoy it...unless you are rich :D

    dot sight for AR15

I suggest the Vortex Sparc2, its a proven red dot and this newer model is nicely updated, has a great warranty and is only $199! I have a Sparc1 and Sparc2, the older Sparc1 has held up to many different calibers including 12gauge and 308. http://www.vortexoptics.com/category/sparc_II_red_dot

40 s&w- which guns can handle it?

Nobody is giving the Glock 22 any love, I think its the best full size .40 pistol on the market...my gen3 has been a beast with well over 3k rounds through it. All I did was change to a steel guide rod.

    Beretta CX-4 Storm

A pistol carbine is good for civil unrest, natural disaster aftermath, and home defense. Not for full on SHTF, a rifle is preferable. The CX4 9mm definitely has a place in certain scenarios and is a excellent choice for home defense that both husband/wife can easily handle. Overtime, my 9mm...

    Wilson TTU Trigger for AR15

I wonder if they had the new market woes with the first sales and have now straightened everything out? Might just go with a Timney, I've read a lot of reviews now about the TTU, most good, but the bad ones are pretty bad.

    Shooting Glock to the left

I did shoot my Glocks left, but after adapting and getting a few mods, I dont have that problem anymore. I got the grips fully stippled, 3.5 connector, and Glocksmith match grade slide locks. Now my G19, G22, and G20 all shoot dead on.

    Wilson TTU Trigger for AR15

The reason I want a Wilson is I am going to visit a friend in Missouri and Wilson's place isnt far from him. I wanted to get one while I was there locally. It'll be a cool trip and nothing could be better than buying direct.

    Sig SP2022 vs M&P9

I've had 3 M&P's fail me, (.40, .45, and a Shield 9) all were new and sent back for repair and failed again or had a totally different feel. Time spent waiting for all to come back was about 6 months (all at different intervals). Safe to say I dont own anymore M&P's. I've owned a 2022, hate I...
