I have one with the cartridge conversion also. I can't believe the bank vault lockup on the gun with both cylinders. Better than anything else I own including my S&W. Mine has the frame turning plum color as a lot of them do. Makes them distinctive.

I made a mistake

Are we talking original or reproduction Rogers & Spencer revolvers? I have a Euroarms R&S that the cylinder locks as good as my S&W 10-5. I will agree they are the best outside of the Ruger.

My Euroarms Rogers & Spencer revolver from the 70's has turned plum color also. My Euroarms 1851 and .36 1858 NMA have not. At least I know I am not alone.

Looks like some of the Remington factory conversion guns with no loading levers I have seen in pictures. Remington made a lot more different conversions than Colt. I for one like the way it looks.
