Comrade Joe's remarks about rifle owner...

Biden is our "enemy of the state" , not the citizen who asked the question . Some of the comments made here are quite disturbing . You would not want to live in MY area since the majority of people are just simple gun owning folks . Tank tops, overalls, and other working man apparel . "Us"...

    New here (sort of)

Have bought JHP for my CZ-52 for $13/ 50 round box . That's not a bad price considering the costs of ammo for my 40s & 45s . Although anything is better than nothing , my first choice wouldn't be a CZ-52 as an sd weapon .

What would you do to prevent gun deaths?

what amazes me is that there are those that are still singing the same old tune , even after being proven wrong . I especially like the SC comment .Apparently things are "settled" only if they are in their favor . The comment about gun industry immunity is quite amusing also ...

    Mim?

jwr747 , understand that some people will be willing to answer your question while others can't take the time to do it , but CAN take the time to post telling you to look for yourself . Fortunately , as you have seen , there ARE people that will try to help you out .

    Best All Around Gun?

To many variables for to many situations . It's the reason there are so many models/sizes/calibers/etc . If there WAS a gun that could do it all , and do it better than the rest , there would be no need for any other models etc to exist . Saying that , my personal preference for the "best...

    Legality of Trigger Jobs

Hmm , shooters come from all walks of life . From lawyers to ditch diggers . Rich and poor . "Ordinary" is subjective . Shooters/gun hobbyists are no less ordinary than those that collect/use any other item . This is the attitude one can see within a jury of our peers . That it isn't "...

State authorities asking gun owners to allow guns to be test fired.

Ya know , I think they may be on to something here . Anyone having a firearm should march down to their local police station so they may do ballistics testing on them . Because we know that essentially , just about every caliber/make has been used in a crime , right? And anyone having DNA...

Woman Shoots Motorcyclist: "Reasonable" or "Unreasonable?"

It would help to know just where each one was really headed . Kinda ironic that both just happen to get off the same exit .

Woman Shoots Motorcyclist: "Reasonable" or "Unreasonable?"

"Biker" describes mode of transportation . "Cager" describes mode of transportation . "Thug" describes a person . Big difference between "motorcycle thug" and "cager" .

Woman Shoots Motorcyclist: "Reasonable" or "Unreasonable?"

Just curious . Exactly what "charge' should the gentleman on the bike get? Was anything he did "illegal"? I didn't see in ANY article that he threatened anyone, caused any damage, or even any traffic infractions. So what exactly do you charge him with? Being stupid? Don't think there's a law for...

    Don't talk to the Police

There ya go . No need to "question" anybody then :D Now here's my question(s) . Why is a person requesting to speak to council before making any statements such a hassle? Is the request for council a "sign" of guilt , and why ? If a person is not "in custody" , thereby not having...

    Don't talk to the Police

I agree , you need not be a Richard Cranium when officers show up . To me , a simple " I'm willing to answer whatever questions you have once I confer with my lawyer" is not giving an "attitude". Yelling about "I know my rights" is not gonna win you any points . A polite and courteous...

    Don't talk to the Police

There is a BIG difference . All the actions/decisions before a shoot ( picking carry gun , ammo, etc ) are things that one has time to mull over in a clear state of mind . Immediately after a shoot , which normally is reaction vs planning , one's mind is not going to be "zen like" . A simple...

    Don't talk to the Police

If it were a shooting incident , the only thing a LEO would hear from me would be : " I feared for my life . I need to talk to my attorney. " Nothing else . Any other time , as said by someone else , name ,rank, serial # . You know , license , reg, ins.

Gun taken (stolen) stories by anti(s)?!?!

I saw a news segment recently about a group who did an OC BBQ in a public place ( a park I believe) . Anyway , the reporter had asked about this very thing , having their guns taken from them . Funny thing was that they said :go ahead and try to grab it out of my holster" . He couldn't . It...

Landmark ruling used to challenge gun case

Did he lie , or did he believe that his pleading guilty and settling the case nullified the protection order? For him to "lie" he would have to know the protection order was still in effect . Possible that he considered it non existent anymore due to the case settlement , therefore it wouldn't...

Tim Lambert/Lofton: DC ban reduced gun-related homicides by 25%

Had stumbled across an older WP article and it actually made some good points . http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/12/AR2007111201818_pf.html I've heard this before somewhere  Funny how this puts the DC ban into a different light than that...
