    Carry pistol failure..

Yes, and so did the Russian fleet but the fact remains that the 9mm revolver was not created for the US market.

    357 mag crimp jump

Yep. Locked up my revolver at the range. That's why I carry a back up. When a revolver fails it's usually something that needs time & tools.

    Taurus 692SS, anyone got one?

I had a Tracker a couple of decades ago, maybe quality control has improved. I like the fact that Taurus isn't afraid to try new ideas. I see advantages and disadvantages in this type of setup but it looks like a serious gun. Personally I don't like the grip.

    9mm revolvers

First thought, why? Second, I also once thought it might be a good idea and bought a Taurus 905. It was supposed to back up my G17. I wrong on both accounts. Third, Taurus supposedly makes the 692 which is a multiple caliber revolver. Fourth, don't take the advice of someone that just bought a...

Carry NAA 22M BUG due to possible mechanical failure of primary (G48).

If you could only have one

Just one gun, just one, hmm, not probable unless they first excluded semiautomatic, magazine fed, military calibers etc like other countries. Mexico; no military calibers, Israel; no private rifles, shotguns to those that qualify legally after taking hunters course, one handgun to those that...

Makes no sense what you wrote.

    J frame 357 versus 38+p

Bring on the dog hair and fuzz bunnies, it still shoots.

Confused... Handguns too powerful for self-defense?

My only problem with handguns is cops who have the time to grab their M4 and forgo it for their sidearm in active shooter situations. For us regular folk my advice is to carry whatever you shoot well, 22 or 44, only hits count.

I had one, traded it for work done on my bike. I have nothing bad to say about it.

    J frame 357 versus 38+p

Nah. I pocket carry the 340 all the time, no problem.

    J frame 357 versus 38+p

I had a 442, prefer the 340 because it does double duty. Is the price worth it? IDK, I have a feeling they charge more because they don't build as many.

    Extra ammo while carrying

Statistically you'll never need to shoot anyone in SD anyway. I just rather not become a statistic so I carry spare.

    Carry pistol failure..

The more parts a device has just makes more things that can go wrong. Wafer thin Moon clips IMO are an unnecessary addition and I know this from once owning a Taurus 9mm revolver (to back up my G17). Now its 640 on belt 340 in pocket or ankle, no moon clips, instant NY reload. 38+P vs 9mm, 9mm...

    Bond Arms Snake Slayer 45 Colt / 3" 410 4¼" barrel

I totally agree, here's my thoughts on why I bought it. It's in a speed holster very secure but quick to draw. It is single action which I prefer, and the scenario that I bought it for was my quick to present gun in the event I'm jumped at Walgreens or Walmart whilst getting into the vehicle...

    Bond Arms Snake Slayer 45 Colt / 3" 410 4¼" barrel

I don't agree with You or Kleenbore but I took the high road and decided not to engage in a squabble. Brandishing is not against the law, unnecessary brandishing or brandishing in the attempt to coerce or intimidate is but then again that also depends on the situation, then brandishing becomes...
