I *think* the FOIA was worded so as to request audit results (records subject to public inspection that contain no identifying information), and not the form 4473s, which are not kept by the BATF unless the FFL surrenders them when going out of business.

You should call him back. Tell him that you'd still be interested in executing the transfer but you need a copy of his BATF Letter of Continuing Authorization. :evil:
