Each Dan Wesson frame is threaded to only accept the barrels that are the proper caliber for it. In other words, each frame and matching barrels have their own thread pitch. The barrel from a model 15 will only fit a model 15, the barrel from a model 22 (.22LR), model 32 (.32H&R), etc will not...

You have to be a real persuasive talker to get Collectors to lower their price that much. Typically they wont drop the price of a used gun more than 10 percent. Collectors tends to over price their firearms. -WD

Lone Star, Yes, the crane lock is the same as the GP100. I do not know what the time frame is with manufacturing the F1 in relation to the Six-series and the GP100. I do know the grips of that Speed-Six pictured above are interchangeable with the F1.
