Sad.
I'm betting if the 8 year old had seen the 12ga in action he would have thought twice about "playing" with it. Them buggers are violent/painfull even on a full grown adult.
I picked up my K3B-FAR (Olympic arms feather weight carbine) a few years ago for ~700.
Its completely satisfied my lust for the black rifle and is a great shooter.
I'm betting the plinker would be just as reliable.
My First gun, A savage .22 was from waly world.
I was shooting a BB gun in the back yard and decided I should try a real one, so I headed to walmart.. :p
That was maybe 3 years ago? (I'm 23) :neener:
As you can see below I have become somewhat addicted.
Didn't vote.. I carry my pt145 and haven't had too much trouble with her plinking or on the range. Even dirty as hell she will still lob 230grainers down range as fast as I can squeeze ;)
When I last lived in an apartment I walked around the parking lot with my ar-15 over my shoulder and no one flinched. (mostly just taking it from my car to my apartment building) The Black rifles are just a bit less scary I guess.
