Takin yer kids to the range.

My youngest, ( 15) competed for the second time in a match. The first, last month wasn't bad. This time, he beats ME! Now that ain't right!:D Well anyway, he was using my reborn Colt/Essex, that I had carried as a duty, and CCW for about 12 years. I'm glad that he has taken an interest in...

    realism in movies

In response to the query, as to if Pulp Fiction had decent gunplay in it, which movie do you feel had realistic gunplay, or just action? As for westerns, I thought that Pale Rider was decent, as they carried high on the belt, and not the low slung, as in older 50's tv westerns were.

    A. Walker muzzleloader

Has anyone heard of a A. Walker muzzleloader? I think it may be a 32-40, as the guy has a bullet mold tool that came with it, and I can make out those numbers on the side of it. He was wondering about the value of it, and I haven't seen one like it.

    Input needed

I am wondering, how many of you who reguarly shoot, wear body armour, ( if you have it) or would wear it, if it was available. We had an incident at the range Sunday eve, where an officer was hit by a piece of a bullet, ( .40 jacketed, but just a small piece of the lead struck him). It has been...

    Cusstomer service

Bought a scope from a company on the net, who shall remain nameless. Now, I know that optics are better, the more cash you have in them, but I thought that I would try this one out. Was on sale, usually 119.00, on closeout for 69.00. I wanted one that had target turrets, and AO, and this one fit...

    Spud guns on the news

Did anyone else catch CBS, with a bit about spud guns? They had some guy on, who lost his sight when he looked down the tube, and it went off! First dumb thing, forgetting a MAJOR rule of gun safety!!!!! Then they were talking to some LEO's who were against it, and showed one that was taken from...

    CCW question

With many states having CCW laws, and the one I live in being the exception, I was wondering. I'm figure that it may be the rule to have your permit when you carry, but how many do? Having been able to do so for 18 years, ( as LEO ) I wouldn't carry with out my badge/ID, in case something...
