9mm Walther P88 if you can afford it. Mine is sweet and all the .45 guys I know that I let shoot it, admit it is the best 9mm handgun they ever shot. the Cost and Mags are a killer though.

Purchsed one of the original P99 when they first came out. Outstanding pistol, have mucho rounds through it and never had a problem in the .40. Good luck.
