The way my mind works, I need to keep it as simple as possible. My belt and holster are switched to whichever pants I am wearing that day (only wear khakis, jeans, etc. that are sturdy to allow for this). As soon as the pants are on, the gun (on my night stand while I sleep) goes in the holster...
No one can honestly say that Trump is surely and genuinely pro-2nd amendment. Guy's a fraud. Many are OK with voting for a fraud with the hope that he'll still be better than Hillary, and that's fine.
I have been a die hard Libertarian since around 2004. As such, Johnson is not my ideal candidate. However, he will definitely still be getting my vote. If all I can do is spoil it for Hillary or Trump and their supporters, then it will have been worth it. LOL
After reading a lot of responses...
I still maintain that what the guy did should not be a crime. Fireman sounds like a pansy. Just move on.
Nothing Kleanbore is saying convinces me that this guy deserves to be arrested and charged. Sorry.
The only one that always makes it is my G19, which is my every day carry. Even if I go to the range to shoot rifles, I usually shoot the G19 to keep up my skills.
The Polish P64 is a pretty cool pistol, and a good size. Can be had for around $200. Not a fan of much else in this price range for a pistol; although, perhaps there are some revolvers around that price that are OK? I don't know as much about revolvers.
Guy seems like a bit of a jerk, but I am not thrilled about living in a society where what he did gets you arrested. In other words, if it's against the law, then I disagree with the law. You should not be allowed to hurt anyone, but you should be allowed to be a jerk.
Yeah. :/ I live in the city, and any other range closer than that costs an arm and a leg ($15/hour/person or several hundred $$/year). I do most of my shooting when visiting my wife's family several times a year as her Father owns rural land with his own range. But, a few times a year I also...
No. No, no, no, no, no, no, and no. Under ZERO circumstances should that be allowed, tolerated, or even attempted. Then again, I wouldn't particularly care if GOP politicians got hurt, so...
I have an Great Uncle who brought one home after WWI. He used it to kill some of Hitler's top aides. It was given to him by a Russian general who worked directly for Lenin.
I LOVE my Howa 1500! It's a .30-06, and shoots very well. They're slightly heavier than a lot of the rifles on the market, which actually attracted me to it. Also a 24" barrel instead of 22".
I finally have an updated, as I spent a lot of time at the range yesterday. In short, it is the ammo; but it is not for the reasons discussed here.
OK, so I started out shooting 20 rounds of commercial ammo. (Yes, I know I shouldn't have, but did it anyways) There was not a single problem...
I'm looking at the Heritage Arms .22/.22mag combo revolver. Seems solid enough, and a cool little plinker with nostalgia. Saw one for like $159 recently new.
I did answer the first two. Yes, I cleaned it really well; but, will do a bunch more just to be sure. There was no brass stuck in the chamber. As for pitting, it's hard to get a good look at the whole chamber, but what I can see looks pretty good. Will check further when I get a chance.
It...
