I use the short rifle charging die for pistols and it works fine. I use the Auto Drum powder measure with a riser.

desmobob, I think what you're looking for is the Lee Powder Charging Die Kit. It's a powder-through charger but it doesn't expand. So you can expand with the Lyman M die first, then powder charge die.

For casting I use the Lee 4-20 bottom pour pot. And I have Lee 6-cavity tumble lube moulds for 9mm and .45, among others. It works well for me, and I think you'd be happy with that setup. ( Lee 6-cavity moulds need the lyman handles , sold separately. )

kmw1954, if I were you I'd stick with the 2-cavity mould that you want. And I'd get the Lee 4-20 bottom pour pot. And I think it would be foolish to not get the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. I taught myself how to do it with those items, and with knowledge I got from the Cast Boolits forum.

Good story to hear! I've always gone out of my way to teach women and girls how to shoot. A lot of the anti-gunners are women, but women who like guns might convert some of the others. My grandma taught me and my brother how to shoot. :)
