They were running a special at a shop near me, I just could not resist since you can't get the full length dust cover anymore unless you get the TRP.
Got home today and my Alumagrips were waiting for me.
A friend of mine just brought in pictures of an old revolver. She would like some help identifying it and an approximate value.
The markings on the side are: Smith & Wesson .455

There is a criss crossed...
I did business with them the first time yesterday.
They were great. I live local for them. I gave them a call looking for a G-code for my XD Tactical. No problem. I met Ed later that day right around the corner from my house. We talked for about 45 minutes. Great guy who stands behind...
Timmerk,
I see you posting here and at the SigForum. For carry I would go with the Walther. You are not going to lug around a USP Tactical or 220ST. I have tried with a 220ST and I find it is to heavy for all day carry. You may feel different.
If I remember correctly you are fairly...
I purchased an M6 over the M3. I got it used at a good price.
First, you can still see the laser dot on a target with the ligh on, it is not washed out.
My reasoning is that the laser adds an extra tool and maybe an advantage in some situations so why not. If you go with the M6 be sure...
Timmerk,
I noticedd you are new to handguns. I would not get caught up in what is the most accurate or handguns. In my opinion most any quality handgun made today is combat accurate. I consider that to mean that I can hit COM at 25 yrs consistently.
Now stating that, my most accurate...
I went through this a month ago. My choice was the Sig 220ST. I have not had any secong thoughts at all.
I considered the Kimber, great pistol but I think that as with some 1911s you never know how much tweaking will be involved to get it to run flawlessly. If I went back to a 1911 type...
I was under the impression that you can switch to the detachable magazine as long as there is no bayonet mount. Remember, it is a point system.
Certain components constitute an assault rifle. Pistol grip, flash suppressor, detachable magazine, bayonet mount and some others I can't remember...
I got a magazine in the mail that sells parts kits to build G3, FAL and others. THey don't come with the receiver but receivers are sold right next to them.
Is it legal to buy all the parts needed to build one of these? I would be interested in doing it.
Krept,
I was in the same situation as you the USP45F was just to big for my hand. I now have a USPc in 357sig and I am just gitty. I don't even look at any of the other guns anymore.
Another fan here.
I have a USP compact in 357 and love it. I also own a SigPro in 357sig. I find the USPc a joy to shoot, I think the recoil is not a problem I can out 250-300 rounds down range in a single day.
The SigPro I found hard to shoot, muzzle flip was pretty bad and so now it...
I would not say it is less acurrate then the classic sigs. I think the people that say that are the people who don't own the Pro and own a classic.
From Petes 357sig page review:
"Accuracy
I frankly couldn't believe it. Even with its short sight radius, compared to my Long Slide...
I own the 2340 with both 40 and 357 barrels. I have also owned or own at one time or another a Colt 1991A1, Taurus PT-99, Steyr M40, and HK USPc 40.
I love the SigPro. It has never had a malfunction of any kind with about 300 rounds through the 357 and 250 rounds through the 40 barrel.
I...
I own a SigPro that I have both the 40 and 357sig barrels for. It is a great platform for the 357 round. The polymer grame soaks up some of the recoil.
I have owned both the classic sigs and now the Sig pro. Don't believe when people say that it is not on par with the Sig Classics it is...
