    No more Powder

Go to the Powder Valley website. Scroll down to the F Facebook icon. Click on it, it takes you to the Facebook page Powder Valley controls. There you will see the Alliant announcement. Obviously, this was typed by someone at least affiliated with Powder Valley, correct or not, unless it got...

    Calculator for components on hand

My wife occasionally uses a website for cooking where the user puts in what ingredients they have and it spits out a list of recipes. Quite a bit different use case, but maybe along the lines of what the OP is thinking.

    Gravity Chambering

I think it would be. It's more or less what Shawn Dodson wrote in his post, if one's thinking is "checking to see if the firearm is unloaded", that's a bias one will seek to confirm. If the thought process is to determine the current state with regard to the presence of ammo, then there's no...

    Gravity Chambering

If there was one in the chamber and you drop the magazine, then there's still a round in the firearm, 100% of the time.

Pins come out of 223 brass?

The Frankford Arsenal one has a cover, too. The cover is particularly useful for rinsing on its own, as it has a very fine mesh screen in the center. It isn't hinged, just flip it over and pour the stuff in, the water drains right out. I think most of them do have covers; as covers keep dust...

Pins come out of 223 brass?

I separate mine in the dirty, soapy water straight from tumbling and it works just fine. It's called adhesion when two things stick through a third thing, such as pin-water-case. Water isn't a great adhesive, so putting things stuck with water in water breaks what little adhesive tension there...

Pins come out of 223 brass?

As FROGO207 said, do it underwater. Then they don't shake out as much as slide out. The media tumbler makes it super easy, mine happens to be Frankford Arsenal, but I'm sure it doesn't matter. I did have one get stuck in a primer pocket once, it was shorter than standard, its length was about...

    SS pins and decapping first

Unless it somehow prevents simultaneous sizing, flaring, powder charging, bullet seating, and crimping, and, depending on the press, priming on a different part of the stroke, then no. As has been said above, the cases dry faster and you don't find corrosion-welded primer ringers while running...

    .45 ACP Brass Primer Sorter

    Don't forget the maintenance fees. Since you're a "micro entity" (I think), that'd be $400 at 3.5 years, $752 at 7.5 years, and $1,540 at 11.5 years. https://www.uspto.gov/learning-and-resources/fees-and-payment/uspto-fee-schedule#Patent%20Maintenance%20Fee

    .45 ACP Brass Primer Sorter

I haven't seen one in the wild yet, but I've read the same thing; they're out there...

    .45 ACP Brass Primer Sorter

🖐️I load both sizes. I'll start with whichever primer size is already on my LNL AP, until I run out of that primer pocket size cases, then switch primer sizes on the press.

What have you done in the reloading room today

I discovered a tire valve stem cap, which somehow found its way into a tub of .45 ACP cases, will fit nicely into such a case. Upon first first seeing it, a "*** is that?" went through my mind. Sadly, the cheap plastic looked no cleaner. :) Edit: I forgot to state this was after running...

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

Dust is fine particles of whatever. Dirt is a catch-all term, FWIW. The grinding action of sand upon itself will create silica dust. On a beach, the moisture will keep the dust down. I've read about desert sand dust causing respiratory problems, silicosis, IIRC, but that's from long-term...

Evidently it gets heated, and the heat tightens up the crystal structure. It probably bakes off any organic stuff, too. It's still silica. Given the dust I've seen swirl up on hot, windy days at the beach, it makes me wonder otherwise.

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

Any dust of sharp crystals is bad to breathe, like coal (black lung) or asbestos. Silica is silicon dioxide; a component of many sands, known as silica sand or quartz sand (quartz is silicon dioxide). I'm not going to avoid the beach.

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

The exoskeletons cell walls of diatoms are mostly silica. If something has diatom bits in it, it has silica. If so-called natural DE isn't really leftover diatom bits, then that's something else entirely. See paragraph 3: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diatom

What To Do with These Bullets

I like these because they are gentle on my steel plates. I've loaded them mainly over CFE. Ringing steel at 100 yards with irons is fun.

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

It's the "skeletons" of one-celled algae and it's about 90% silica. It's a great polish. It can also kill insects; it gets stuck in their joints and "polishes" them open, leaving the critter to dry out, something like that. It can also be used for filtering water and other things. It's...
