    New Ruger

Always keep in mind there are three personalities when it comes to new firearms... 1. First, we have the the "get off my lawn!" AARP folks that chime in with something about not needing a plastic toy gun (they actually think the entire gun is plastic, barrel and all). Instead, they only carry...

    Ruger LCR.

I was really starting to think it might be John Titor.

Why didn't the FBI choose the .45 acp?

It's cheaper to teach spray and pray with high capacity 9mm or .40

    Marlin Lever Rifles

The 1895g is one the best purchases I have made, right up there with the SP101's.

SP-101 really stronger than other revolvers?

It looks like we have contestant who has explained the ruger strength away as simple cult following that is ready to believe anything. Would you be willing to put some buffalo bore 44 ammo in your 629? I didn't think so...

SP-101 really stronger than other revolvers?

Posted by Drail If this really happened I must say that is absolutely insane, good thing my revolver inventory only includes Ruger's, except for a S&W 642-1 no lock.

just curious,. how come the US military didn't use the .308 win?

From all the information I have read this is how it appears. 1.) Most battlefield engagements happen at 300 yards and under. 2.) The most common rifle bullet the U.S. military uses right now is the 62 grain M885 FMJ in 5.56 caliber. 3.) There are complaints from afield where bullets are...

Problems with Remington .38 Spl ammo

I just took a look at two boxes of R38S12 (FBI load) 2009 manufacture, all 100 rounds have a gritty looking substance around the primer. I'm going to assume this is a normal characteristic, I fired a few boxes from the same lot out of a 642-1 and a 3" SP101 without issue. I can't imagine how...

What really happens when you fan a SAA?

If you have a habit of rapid firing any revolver you are going to round off the edges in the bolt stop notches in the cylinder MUCH quicker than you would with liberal firing practice. The cylinder of a revolver comes to an abrupt stop prior to firing. The faster you make that cylinder turn...

    Ruger's new .327's

New Taurus 990, but problem (I think)

Just looking at the last two pictures reminds me why I will not buy a Taurus. Sloppy is probably even too conservative of a word to use.

LCR flame cutting after 500 rounds?

If a Ruger LCR had flame cutting after 500 rounds and nobody was there to hear it, did it actually make a sound?

LCR flame cutting after 500 rounds?

Wow, someone started the 1000 round life expectancy theory (is it 4:20 already?), and now people are dissecting Ruger's response that the LCR has been tested with over 10,000 rounds of 158+p. I'm gonna go out on a limb when I say this, but, I'm guessing that all the people who are taking a...

    Are you kiddin me??

If you do some more browsing on youtube you will find there are all types of homemade firearms. Ranging from pen guns to pistols to .50 cal rifles. Some of the designs are crude and probably outright dangerous. There are a few other homemade smg's on youtube also.

    357 Magnum vs 45 ACP

.357 Fed or Rem 125 grain. .45 is a sissy compromise for those who are afraid to lose their hearing.

    Taurus AR-15

Personally I would pass on the Taurus AR-15. But, if Lorcin, Jimenez, Bryco, Davis or Jennings decides to tool up to produce AR-15's, sign me up.
