    Vibrating Primer Tube fFllers?

I have a Franklin Arsenal and use it all the time. the tubes that come with have a plastic top that, if dropped on the top part, will deform the hole in the middle and refuse primers. I found some plain aluminum tubes, (probably Dillon with the plastic pickup ends) that have a hairpin at one end...

    General purpose Tumbler Brass cleaner?

Are you talking about dry, vibratory tumbling? Around here, Nu-Finish car polish is very popular. Add a capful to your media, holding the cap to the rim of the tumbler to get all the polish while it's running BEFORE adding brass. Otherwise the polish will stick to the brass and be hard to...

    Rifle Recommendation for Teen

I bought a Savage "package", in .243 for my daughter when she said she wanted to hunt our local Blacktail. Well, she went off to nursing school and I used it that fall. It kills deer just fine, just like my Model 94 in .30-30. I don't want to give it back..

Old Western movie where a character has a da revolver with a saa grip

When I was 9 or 10 my uncle Wesley, with Dad's permission, gave me an old double action that looked like a single action. The cylinder didn't swing out, the frame had a loading gate, and an integral sleeve for an ejector like as SAA. the grip was something between a SAA and a DA grip. It had...

    Shooting Pesky Red Squirrels

Years ago, my father in law asked if I had a pellet gun he could borrow. I had a couple of really cheap chinese break barrel .177s that I had bought for about $12 each. He returned it to me at the end of summer, remarking on the 10-20 yd. accuracy on red squirrels in his back yard. He had...

Rare cap and ball revolvers, please show and do tell! Here’s mine

I got this in 1972 in my LGS in Marion, Indiana. Sold by Navy Arms as the "Navy Arms Target Model", made by Uberti, and have found no literature about it other to a couple vague references to a Navy Arms Target model .

Have you ever lost a gun but not in a boating accident? Or found one?

Not a lost or found story, but I've a dream segment that has recurred a few times. I'm in the blend of my childhood bedroom and my reloading room, and I can't find my .40 glock anywhere. It wakes me up, at which point I remember that I have never in my life owned a .40 of any make. To this day...
