Kel tec has the best customer service they will send you a metal mag release free or you can send your gun in. Ive replaced mine already to the metal one wich btw has a lower profile than the original one making it impossible to accidently release. Go for the metal one.:)
Words are not worth the agreviattion
Theres an old saying that the real samurai is not the one who carries the biggest sword or the one who has chopped the most heads.. the real samurai is the one who wins a battle without having to pull his sword out of his sheath and lives for the next sunrise.
Here in Puerto Rico
From 1998 to 2004, 148 persons were wounded here on the island and 5 sustained death due to shooting up in the air during new years(stray bullets):what:. I find it quite an irresponsible practice but thats just me.
Most counsealable and comfortable to carry P3at. Most easier to shoot Bersa.
I have a p3at with over 1500 rounds without a hiccup and still ticking.:D however I consider the keltec an im in your face gun and the Bersa a gun with a little more range.
Why do I carry a Keltec
1. Im not rich.
2. Its light.
3. Its customer service is 5 stars.
4. They work everytime I pull the trigger.
5. The round goes where I point it to.
You can dream all you want and wish that expensive gun you paid $1000 buck for will go bang. But I can attest that...
Ive carry mine most of the times with a keltec belt clip with no holster. And in some rare instances in my pocket when wearing baggy of pants with big pockets. As far as parts their customer service is 5 stars ive only ordered parts like mag extensions, belt clips and once once wore my mag...
The proper way to ensure this dont happen is you shall depress the mag release before inserting the mag, since mag releases in keltecs are made out of plastic and will wear very easy compared to other guns. Ive made mine out of metal they are not that hard to make with a set of files and some...
Mines been reliable as hell and has put in to early retirement my glock and S&W mod 64. I must emphasize, kel tecs are not glocks that will take 10000 rounds its a carry a lot shoot once a month to stay proficient. But then again nowadays some top$$ expensive guns out there seem some times to be...
In Hollow points the best performing Ammo is Remington's golden sabers in 102g they will expand to .57 and penetrate decently if max penetration is your thing any FMJ will do but the hottest out there are Spanish surplus ammo called Santa Barbara (very hot stuff but hard to come by) hope this helps.
Wish i could buy at those prices, I paid $350 for a blued one and there was 2 guys in a list waiting for these to show up:what: then again I live in an island. :banghead:
Mine
Mine with a factory belt clip installed, Very pleased with mine and with Keltecs lifetime customer service. +P capable 8 rounds no need for safety due to double action. It packs a nice kick due to the small and light weight nature. Very concealable however for pocket concealment I usually...
Buy him a keltec P3AT in 380 or perhaps a p32 with a belt clip (no need for bulky holster) very light good on your pocket $$ wise and better than a can of mace. I'm sympathetic with your dad i just refuse to carry any anvils in my waist so I'm always in the lookout for small and lightweight...
