I don't mind the finger grooves at all.

I don't have it anymore, but I had a 4506 for many years. I like big heavy guns, and it fit into that category. I would take any 3rd gen S&W pistol over any 1911.

I have a few polymer striker guns and a few SA/DA hammer polymer guns. In every case, I like the hammer fired guns more. My favorite striker gun is my Taurus GX4 TORO, mostly for it's fantastic grip than any other reason.

I had to pass on one of my lusted after guns last month, since I won't be getting anything back much from Ohio, and my fed tax will be pretty high this year, so no April toys for me this year. I'm a sucker for satin nickel/SS, and a friend of a friend had a Sig P226 in SN, and I wanted it bad.

I've had a couple of .22LR cases crack over the years, both were from Remington "bucket of bullets", and in the revolver I was shooting, an all steel Pietta, only the sound told me something was up.

There was a guy on a forum someplace said he would never buy a Charger or Challenger because "The name is too aggressive". He admitted he did like the cars themselves though. I can't say I understand thinking like that at all.

I've gotten rid of a lot of guns that had nothing wrong with them. The number one reason was I needed cash, and in a hurry. Secondly, they were guns that I had bought and just never cared about, mostly polymer guns with striker fire mechanisms. And then there were the ones I just didn't like...

I can't stand bi/trifocals, lined or not. I got monovision lenses in my eyes when I had cataract surgery, and I can see the front sight well enough that way. I wear safety rated glasses for eye protection and just to see the target a little better. If seeing was my problem, I would be thrilled...

It's about the slickest gun I've ever shot, smooth as glass with perfect slide fit, a (IMHO) perfect SA trigger and I love CZ pattern guns in general. And I'm a sucker for satin/matte SS or nickel besides.

Semiauto would be my CZ75 Pre-B in NP3: Revolver would be a more difficult choice, but I would have to give the edge to my S&W 28-2 4" circa 1967. It's the one on the right, the left one is from 1979. With bigger and less ugly grips of course on both of them.

Mine has to be my Astra A75. People at the range always seem mystified by what it is, and snicker as soon as I tell them. Until they shoot it. Not only does it look kind of like a little Sig, the DA trigger is like glass, and the SA ir pretty great too. Only my worked on Sig P220 DAK comes...
