thats about right. you can usually save a little on cost if you do all the prep yourself. especially if you want a polished finish. smiths charge a lot to buff your gun :)
give it a good cleaning and check that the crown is perfect before messing with the existing sights. i had a similar problem with my uncles H&R. his shots went into nice groups low and left. i put it through a sonic cleaner, then ran some JB bore paste through it. then i re cut the crown. now it...
i will reuse my "mistake" primers for plinking ammo. i've never had one not work. if you get a FTF then your not out anymore than you would be if you just chucked the primer in the first place.
hello, i was wandering if there are any reloaders in the the Duluth, MN area (more specifically Two Harbors) who wouldn't mind letting a wayward Floridian pay to use their tumbler. i will be in the area starting early next week on a job for about three weeks. i figured this would be a good time...
thanks. thats what i thought. but since the congress critters managed to legislate a ban against "high capacity" mags the thought creped into my head that maybe their manufacture was regulated. my state has no problem with it (or so my lawyer tells me) so it looks like i'm GTG
thanks again
does anyone know if you need an FFL or any other license to manufacture magazines? they would be in the 10-20 round capacity if that makes any difference.
thanks

does anyone have a direct conversion from grains of water to cubic centimeters? i am trying to find the difference in volume of my 308 brass between fire formed and FL sized. i have the difference in grains of water but i can't seem to locate a conversion formula.

ballistics data for the 7mmRM shows it out performing the 06 by about 100fps and 150 ft-lb at the muzzle with the same weight/type projectiles. as for why the 7mm takes so much more powder to do that i can only assume that the law of diminishing returns plays a big part. basically with similar...
